[Altria cosplay] Saber Alter, the Rebel Knight in Fate: Sword Shadow by the Sea

Putting on this dark blue gown, wearing gold colored contacts and a white wig, I instantly entered the state of Altria cosplay as Saber Alter. Choosing to shoot by the sea today, the satin texture of the dress and the silver embroidered patterns gleam beautifully under natural light. Paired with the long-handled black greatsword, the overall chilling aura is perfectly captured.

During the shoot, I tried several different sword-holding poses. The standing backward glance and the grip strength in image three intentionally maintained the character's fierce, chilling demeanor. The charm of this Saber Alter form lies in that resolve and oppressive sense of majesty, so I minimized any smiles in my expressions to keep my gaze more focused.

The prop sword is actually quite heavy, but for the visual tension, I insisted on lifting it with one hand. The biggest challenge of shooting outdoors is the wind. The fluttering of the skirt hem and hair required many snapshots to find the most natural moment. The photographer used a low-angle shot this time, bringing the sky and the distant city skyline into the background, giving the character a look of standing alone on the shore. This style of cosplay requires balancing both costume details and character expressions. I hope this look's accuracy can convey the heavy sense of narrative belonging to the character in this piece of Anime-style photography.
