Today I'm posting a set of Arknights Vulpisfoglia convention photos. Although I'm only 1.6 meters tall, this styling managed to exude an aura of 1.8 meters. The slim-fit black suit paired with a white shirt and bright red tie creates a striking color contrast, while the blue-purple lining and golden patterns of the cape boast rich texture. To pull off this commanding presence, I put serious effort into my standing posture; in the first shot, leaning against the cast-iron railing of the spiral staircase with opened shoulders and center of gravity shifted slightly backward, complemented by warm yellow backlighting from the side, effectively elongated the silhouette. To prevent the long straight blonde hair from looking flat, several hair pads were layered inside. While the huge animal ears are fluffy, cute elements, they were pinned tightly with hairnets and clips to stay securely anchored on my head.

The second picture was taken outside the porch. To capture the dynamic momentum of swinging the sword, I had to pivot the moment the photographer called the countdown, sending the cape and tail billowing in the air. This actually tested core strength tremendously because the prop longsword carries substantial weight; combined with the heavy skirt, running back and forth quickly worked up a sweat. The black high-heeled lace-up ankle boots deserve plenty of credit as well—they added noticeable visual proportion to my overall height. Though walking in them demanded extra caution, that was entirely forgotten once in front of the lens.

Wearing all these layered pieces felt rather stuffy, but the moment I stepped before the camera and rested a hand on the sword hilt, that 'stay away' cool, aloof aura surfaced naturally. During shooting, I like swinging the prop several times to build muscle memory while keeping my gaze sharp, since slouching even a bit ruins the sharp presence. Being cool is indeed a sensation: it isn't merely piling on clothes, but rather a conviction brought forth by the synthesis of gaze, posture, and props. This set of Kemonomimi cosplay convention photos did justice to the delicate costume and massive tail, bringing out the exact haughty, cold ambiance I envisioned.
