For this uniform version of Chiaki Nanami, I put a lot of thought into selecting the costume fabric during the early stages. The white shirt was chosen with a slightly drape-like material that is not see-through, paired with a pink thin ribbon bow; the necktie's length and stiffness were adjusted multiple times to ensure it maintained a nice curve before the lens. The dark green long-sleeved jacket is a loose-fitting style, and the white striped decoration at the cuffs is the soul of the entire uniform—this slightly retro-designed look fits her campus background very well. Regarding wig styling, to recreate that choppy, slightly messy short hair, I repeatedly trimmed the layering at the hair ends, pinned the iconic small hairclip on the left side, and the overall styling's accuracy became very high. Black stockings paired with pink chunky-heeled Mary Jane shoes—this combination has a huge visual impact; the semi-sheer texture of the Black stockings outlines the leg lines, while the pink shoes neutralize the dullness of the black, adding a touch of girlish innocence and cuteness.

The shooting location was chosen as a windowsill with plenty of natural light filtering through, and the stacked books in the background were temporarily moved and arranged by me just to create that quiet atmosphere of a game room or library. In the first picture, I chose to sit on the windowsill, with both legs hanging down naturally, holding a phone with a blank stare. Chiaki Nanami's essence is a hardcore gamer; this pose design is meant to show that she might be playing a game or just finished one, being in a transitional state of zoning out and resting. The slightly forward-leaning body and relaxed shoulder-and-neck lines were meant to showcase her usual lack of drive and slightly lazy state. The second picture changed to a knees-hugged posture, with a pink plush toy placed beside me; this angle was more to showcase her soft, insecure inner side. During the shoot, I deliberately avoided straightening my back, instead letting my back present a slight natural curve, which fits her sleepyhead setting of being able to fall asleep anytime, anywhere. Light hit from behind, forming a soft highlight ring around the hair edges, which, matched with the blurred city buildings outside the window, brought out the frame's rich layering.

To demonstrate the character's professionalism, I paid special attention to the conveyance of the gaze. Although Chiaki usually appears sleepy, her gaze is clear and focused when encountering difficulties, so I intentionally controlled the drooping amplitude of my eyelids before the lens, maintaining a contradictory vibe of seeming lazy yet actually awake. Shooting this kind of sitting pose, especially photos showcasing leg lines, actually requires core support. To make the edges of the Black stockings and skirt look smooth and natural, I slightly adjusted my sitting posture multiple times, ensuring the pleats of the pleated skirt were at the correct angle without pinching unnecessary fleshiness at the thigh edges, while utilizing side lighting to make the leg contours more three-dimensional. In many people's impressions, uniforms and Black stockings are a classic combination, but when recreating the character, I focused more on the unity of overall temperament. Chiaki is not a character who flaunts sexiness; she carries a natural, dorky cuteness, so my movements were small, relying mainly on expression and light-and-shadow to attract attention. The stacked books on the windowsill also had highs and lows, which not only enriched the frame but also served as foreground or background elements to make the subject appear even more delicate. This photo set didn't use overly complex post-processing special effects; it mainly adjusted the overall picture's transparency to make the light look more natural and skin tones softer.
