This photoshoot for Nihilux actually took nearly three hours. Once the studio lights hit in the white cyclorama, the contrast between the black outfit and white hair became intensely sharp, showing every glint on each strand of hair with crystal clarity. For this look, applying false eyelashes, wearing color contacts, and completing the eye makeup alone took over an hour. The wig demanded extensive styling—especially the right braid and the pink gradient highlights at the tips, which needed plenty of hairspray to achieve that effortless flowing look. Furthermore, these wire-rimmed semi-rimless glasses kept slipping down with the slightest movement; while initially annoying, pushing them up actually added a layer of intellectual coolness and enigma to the character, turning into an unexpected bonus.

The studio's AC was blasting on the day of the shoot, but because of the multi-layered costume and the heavy wig, I needed makeup touch-ups every few sets. The photographer was fantastic at capturing fleeting moments, guiding me toward a vibe that was icy yet subtly nonchalant. I tried wearing the coat half-off, slipping one hand into the pocket, or pointing the pen tip directly at the lens. The glossy black gloves paired with the metallic silver chains reflected cold highlights under the studio strobes, which, together with the purple contact lenses, elevated the overall atmosphere to its peak. The eyelashes and eyeliner were deliberately deepened to ground the weightlessness of the white hair, lending more sculpted definition to my facial contours. To accentuate the stockings and leg lines, I specifically selected semi-sheer Black stockings, which, paired with the high-slit skirt, revealed a restrained touch of sensuality between movements.

Wardrobe-wise, the long white blazer was sharply tailored, while the taupe bandeau top and colorful silk scarf introduced a refreshing pop of color within the monochrome palette. The long Leather gloves offered remarkable texture, with silver chains and black-and-white prints that looked stunning on camera; the only downside was their lack of breathability, leaving my hands drenched in sweat after three hours. The high-waisted black skirt paired with black hosiery visually elongated my leg lines. The platform lace-up leather shoes provided a great boost in height, but they severely tested my balance—especially during high kicks and one-knee crouches, where the photographer constantly reminded me to engage my core to avoid falling. For the pose holding the pen and book, I stared unblinkingly at the lens to maintain that piercing gaze, holding the expression until my face nearly froze.

The pose design this time included high kicks, kneeling on one knee, and posing with the book and pen. That high kick actually took multiple takes: keeping the skirt hem from flying too wildly while ensuring my facial expression didn't falter truly tested my core strength. The combination of black stockings and platform shoes gave the leg contours immense visual tension on camera. I initially thought the delay was due to slow retouching, but it turned out the three-hour session generated a massive pile of material; each photo demanded repeated adjustments for lighting and skin texture, pushing me to my absolute limits. The goofy complaints were just the result of staring at the screen for too long until my mind grew fuzzy. I definitely won't make reckless promises again! Even though it was an exhausting journey, the moment I saw the finished photos, all the fatigue from those three hours melted away. I hope everyone enjoys this presentation.
