Shooting this Cheshire Cosplay set high demands on lighting and environment, as pink-themed attire can easily look flat without intentional illumination; therefore, I coordinated extensively with photographer Wuyu beforehand.

The centerpiece of this styling was a pastel-pink Lolita dress, where tiered lace and sheer tulle sleeves amplified the dreamy aesthetic. The teal-green highlights in the wig and the pink X-shaped hairpins served as visual keystones; managing the stark contrast between hair shades required patient grooming. On my feet were pink lace-up heels paired with White stockings; to elongate the leg lines on camera, posing took considerable effort—especially the leg extension in the second photo, which demanded balancing on the chair while fanning out the skirt so it wouldn't look bulky.

The shoot took place across a flower-filled greenhouse and a vintage wooden cabin. Sunlight filtered through wooden window frames, imparting a hazy halo to the scene. Arranging poses among blooming florals made me feel like an inquisitive kitten wandering in. Later scenes shot around the bed featured scattered red roses and a white bouquet in hand, shifting the mood toward romantic fantasy.

Photographer Wuyu demonstrated remarkable sensitivity to light, guiding me to channel a kitten's signature blend of languid poise and cuteness. Finding an elegant seated posture in such a puffy dress was tricky, especially on a chair where the skirt layers had to be meticulously draped across the frame. The texture of the white stockings was a huge plus, appearing delightfully translucent under backlighting; this demanded precise reflector control to avoid blowing out the background while keeping the subject well-exposed.

To align with character lore, the makeup was adjusted to enlarge eye proportions, using pale-blue contact lenses to make the gaze lucid and spirited, complemented by sheer blush that evoked a porcelain-doll finish. I also picked up valuable insights on reflector usage, such as eliminating facial shadows through micro-adjustments to even out skin tones.

Due to the dress's voluminous silhouette, every posture change required resetting the sleeves so they wouldn't bunch or deform. Wearing gloves also meant handling the floral bouquet gently to protect the petals. The session spanned roughly three hours; walking around in high heels and stockings over wooden floorboards was tiring, yet seeing the raw captures brimming with vintage fantasy made every effort worthwhile. This wonderful shoot captured the character's charm while offering invaluable experience in pink-toned aesthetics—huge thanks to the photography crew for their dedication.
