This JK style outfit featuring plaid elements and silver-white twin tails was a shooting plan I began preparing long in advance. Last week at the Guangzhou Firefly ACG Expo site, the outdoor sunlight was intense, but that made the overall visuals look exceptionally vibrant, clear, and clean. To recreate the gentle demeanor of Kasugano Sora as much as possible, I chose a beige long-sleeved top with lantern sleeves. The collar and front pocket feature brown plaid color-blocking, matching the pleated skirt below while keeping the upper body from looking plain. The matching accessory was a vintage brown leather square bag; the plush rabbit charm on the side served as a cute highlight, with the glossy texture of the leather clearly captured under the sunlight.

As for the long silver-white hair, it was the detail I cared about most this time. Although straight bangs with twin tails is a classic setup, achieving such long, airy, and lightweight hair in reality required spending a lot of time combing the wig. Fastening both sides with wide black bows held the hair firmly in place while softening the starkness of the white hair. Walking around outdoors, unruly hair tips often drifted or brushed against passersby, but for the sake of visual quality, the hassle was well worth it.

For makeup, I aimed for a translucent, everyday look that accentuated the eyes while avoiding heavy stage makeup, giving off a girl-next-door vibe. During the shoot, the photographer had me try a few poses. For instance, holding hands clasped in front of my chest and leaning slightly low to look delicate and docile; or cupping my chin with one hand and turning toward the camera to show a relaxed state. Another pose was gently resting a hand against my forehead, which highlighted my facial features and let natural light cast smooth gradients across my face.

Special mention goes to the grey rabbit plushie in the fourth photo. Bringing it along was an impulse decision, but it unexpectedly added emotional depth to the shot. When placed near my feet while squatting, the soft texture of the rabbit balanced nicely with the elegant look of the black tights. As a foundational piece of the outfit, the black pantyhose played a key role in smoothing leg lines while grounding the warmer tones of the plaid skirt.

The anime convention venue was quite crowded that day, with tourists and fellow fans constantly passing through. To capture clean shots, the photographer spent most of the time lying on the ground or finding tricky angles to avoid chaotic crowds in the background. Fortunately, Guangzhou's weather was on our side. Strong sunlight beat down on the open square, producing defined shadows and vibrant color reproduction that needed minimal post-processing, preserving a vivid sense of reality. Though wandering around in a long wig was tiring, seeing those frozen moments in the finished photos made the pure joy of enjoying my favorite outfit at the anime convention completely worth it. This cosplay photo sharing set doesn't strive for over-processed editing; it simply captures that sunny afternoon and the natural state of this JK style outfit. I hope the emotions in these photos reach all of you reading this.
