The focus of this Anis casual outfit photo shoot is entirely centered on this bright yellow matching style. To restore the character's energetic state, I chose a short crop top design for the top. The yellow-brown plaid tie at the neckline is actually quite sophisticated; to make it look crisper, I specially added internal shaping and fixing at the knot position so that even if the arm movements were a bit large during the shoot, the tie wouldn't skew to one side. The bright yellow long-sleeved jacket worn on the outside has wide flared cuffs, which is indeed visually eye-catching, but when actually wearing it, care must be taken to prevent snagging, and you have to carefully avoid table corners and debris when moving around. The two yellow drawstrings at the hem of the clothes are the finishing touch; tightening them slightly can nicely flatter the waistline. However, during the shooting process, in order to present the most natural skin texture, I repeatedly adjusted the tightness several times, ensuring it fits the body shape without leaving obvious red marks.
For the lower body, this yellow star-patterned pleated skirt, the crispness of the skirt hem is crucial. I pre-pressed every single pleat again with a flat iron; otherwise, it would look loose in photos, lacking the sharp feel typical of 2D anime. The skirt comes with a black lace-trimmed lining. When walking or slightly bending the legs, the black edge is revealed, making the layering richer. The waist is paired with a black leather belt with metal eyelets, which not only tightens the waistline but also adds a bit of hardcore visual grounding to the overall bright yellow tone.
For the leg pairing, I chose pure white stockings and black Mary Jane shoes. This combination of shoes and socks can well elongate the calf lines, making the ankles look slender. However, during indoor shooting, due to mixed light sources, the white stockings are prone to overexposure and reflection. I slightly adjusted the angle of the fill light and gave the legs a bit of shadow so that the material looks more realistic. I also carefully adjusted the buckles of the Mary Jane shoes to ensure they wouldn't be too loose when walking.
In terms of pose design, this outfit itself has a strong sense of vitality, so I didn't strike overly complex poses. Basically, I used simple and direct poses like making a V-sign to match the character setting. The first photo features a slight side turn and a slight leg bend, which visually makes the figure look slenderer and the curves more attractive; the second photo features a front-facing symmetrical stance, focusing on displaying the overall color matching and the tension of the skirt hem. In terms of makeup, I tried to keep a vibrant atmosphere, adding a little glitter to the eye makeup to echo the tone of the clothes. The wig was also trimmed for layering and fixed with styling spray on the curves of the bangs and sideburns to ensure it wouldn't collapse or look heavy during the shoot.
Actually, this seemingly ordinary casual wear requires the most effort in terms of clothing pattern fit and material texture; if the details are not handled well, it easily looks like ordinary everyday clothing. I am very satisfied with the overall color saturation of this final photo set. It not only has character accuracy, but also showcases my body lines through some fine-tuning of the patterns, creating an overall atmosphere that is both lively and slightly sexy.
