[Amiya cosplay] Arknights: A Leisurely Afternoon Tea Time

The theme for this shoot was Amiya's leisurely afternoon tea from Arknights. To match the visual concept of the White Rabbit candy theme, I chose a classic red-and-blue plaid dress layered with a white lace-trimmed apron, paired with a wig cut with natural blunt bangs and low twin pigtails, crowned by a pair of fluffy, oversized bunny ears. The overall palette harmonized seamlessly with the props.

For cosmetics, I wore vivid blue contact lenses and blended soft red tones around the eyes, defining the outer corners to highlight the character's spirited, sweet, and obedient demeanor. The shoot took place in a retro-styled interior adorned with a wooden upright piano, oil paintings, and potted houseplants. Mid-afternoon sunlight at two or three o'clock filtered gently through the window blinds, casting soft, organic light and shadow. Seated on a wooden chair by the window, I cradled a massive White Rabbit creamy candy bolster while holding a chocolate-glazed cake on a saucer with a tiny golden fork. To accentuate the outfit and leg lines, I settled into a cross-legged sitting pose, where the White stockings paired with glossy black patent Mary Jane shoes created a crisp, clean contrast against the warm floor tiles and vintage backdrop.

As a cosplayer who frequently produces photo sets, I felt the soul of this gallery lay in everyday realism and spontaneous interaction. During the session, I encouraged the photographer to snap candid frames of me tasting treats, adjusting my bunny ears, or spacing out while hugging the plush pillow, steering clear of rigid poses. Prop details made a tremendous difference: the antique tea cup set, leather-bound books, and plush toys not only enriched the composition, but also gave my hands natural anchors for fluid movement. The chromatic balance between the red-and-blue plaid, crisp white apron, brown hair fibers, and warm amber indoor illumination cultivated a nostalgic, sugary warmth.

This experience offered great insights into utilizing handheld props to elevate visual storytelling. For framing, we incorporated floor tile tones that resonated with the environment and leveraged low-angle perspectives to stretch visual proportions. The entire shoot flowed effortlessly; layering natural daylight, confections, and plush accessories brought our vision to life, beautifully capturing the character's tranquil, relaxed state far away from the tension of combat. I hope this sweet-scented collection brings everyone a touch of lighthearted joy.
