Preparation for this GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE Alice coordinate began a week prior to the convention. After receiving the wig, I trimmed the bangs and sideburns by hand, using a curling iron to gently shape natural curls into the tips. The frizz prone to pink synthetic fibers was smoothed down using care solution and low-temperature heat-setting. For makeup, matching the character's temperament meant keeping the base translucent, softly blending pink-brown tones across the eyelids, and wearing large-diameter lenses to open up the eye contours and make expressions appear lively and wide-eyed before the camera.
Breaking down the garments reveals an abundance of delicate nuances. The inner top features a white halter-neck cut with sheer mesh across the décolletage, accented in the center by a small crimson heart embellishment. The lace sleeve warmers along the arms connect with delicate straps, matching long lace gloves that demanded careful tension adjustment to keep from slipping down during extended takes. The skirt boasts several layered tiers edged in ruffles and lace trimming. To honor the pristine white palette, I specifically selected opaque, matte White stockings with slight compression; they contoured leg lines smoothly without generating excessive glare under harsh convention lighting.
The headpiece was the crowning centerpiece of the ensemble: a frilled white lace headband framed by plush bunny ears and an adorable little rabbit-face clip. The white lop-eared bunny plush cradled in my arms in the second image served as a pre-planned prop that harmonized seamlessly with the bunny ears. The convention floor was packed with visitors, so we scouted a relatively quiet photo booth zone framed by vintage stained glass and dark wooden armchairs, evoking an antique cathedral or castle ambiance.
During the shoot, the photographer guided me through varied postures. In the first shot, resting fingertips against my chin brought dimensional depth to the upper torso while showing off the lace gloves and neckline contours. In the second, perching on the armchair while cuddling the plush toy, leaning slightly back with legs naturally crossed, allowed the flared skirt tiers and the smooth texture of the White stockings to shine. The ambient lighting leaned cool, so a touch of warm fill light was directed onto my face to keep my complexion from appearing overly washed out.
Walking the convention floor in these flared layers was undeniably cumbersome, requiring me to lift the hemlines whenever ascending stairs. Yet every time photographers stopped me for pictures and complimented how faithful the look felt to the character, all the meticulous prep work felt completely rewarding. 'Perhaps I really am your little angel' captures the aura of this styling to perfection. From wig setting to refining wardrobe subtleties, every measure was taken to recreate that pure, subtly sensual presence. Putting together these Convention photos documents the time and passion poured into embodying Alice, capturing my dedication to showing my best self on camera. Overall, pairing White stockings with Bunny girl elements proved immensely captivating on camera and fully fulfilled our creative vision.
