This time I brought you an Arknights Arturia cosplay. For this styling, a lot of thought went into the preparation. In terms of makeup and hair, this standard long straight black wig with blunt bangs needs patient styling to look smooth and frizz-free, paired with light-colored contact lenses and well-defined eye makeup, which can well highlight the character's slightly cold trait. The costume part adopts a white shirt paired with a black slim vest design; the black bow tie and metallic textured buckle at the neckline add overall layers. The hem of the black pleated skirt on the lower body has gold parallel stripes and lace trims, and the layering is very obvious when walking. The detail that satisfies me the most is the decoration with gold geometric textures on the cuffs and thighs, paired with black over-the-knee stockings and glossy platform high heels, which plays a great role in visually lengthening proportions, and the texture of the overall outfit fits the character's temperament very well. The biggest challenge during the shoot was the prop part. The large harp-like staff in hand has a very complex structure, combining a circular outer frame, strings, white mechanical parts, and a long handle. Holding it in hand not only requires finding the right center of gravity, but also coordinating with the long bow in the other hand to strike playing or combat poses. At the same time, the radially arranged black feather decorations on the back are also fixed, so attention must be paid to the range of motion when walking and turning to avoid accessories shifting or tangling together. Although walking around during the outdoor convention photos on the shooting day and stepping on platform high heels was indeed quite tiring, seeing the light, shadow, and composition in the final photos, it feels like all of this is worth it. The architectural lines of the venue are very modern, gray-white floor tiles and glass curtain walls provide a clean and deep background, and natural light and cool-toned architecture complement each other, perfectly matching the character's style. During the shooting process, different postures such as standing, sideways, and closing eyes in contemplation were also tried, striving to show the character's sense of story from all angles. Special thanks here to the photographer's patient guidance, capturing many satisfactory moments. Because the convention site environment is relatively noisy, the wearing of this styling and prop assembly are both quite cumbersome, and thanks also to the partners who helped arrange clothes and watch over accessories. The whole outfit strives for details in place from head to toe, and in the future, I will continue to try more challenging styling and prop making, constantly polishing my expressiveness.
