Today I challenged Wakaba Mutsumi's cosplay. Speaking of which, what attracts me most about this character is the contrast between her poker face and her rich inner emotions. To restore her well, I put a lot of thought into the makeup and the mint green wig. The wig chose a long straight mint green style with trimmed blunt bangs. To make the hair fibers look more textured, I sprayed some matte care liquid, trying my best to restore that natural and detached atmosphere. The makeup focus was placed on the eye makeup, with brown contact lenses paired with downturned eyeliner and a tiny bit of lower eyeshadow; the person's aura changed instantly.
In terms of clothing details, this off-white shirt has an exquisite lace-trimmed collar, a dark green bow tied at the chest, paired with dark blue plaid fabric on the outside. The black lace choker around the neck is the soul of the entire styling; putting it on immediately gives off the character's exclusive aura. Because today was a casual anime style selfie inside the car, I chose a relatively natural angle. Although the background is a bit dark, it just sets off the light and shadow on the face and the hair color. Without using too much complex lighting, it mainly relied on natural light to find angles, and the resulting shots feel closer to the realism of daily life.
Actually, the difficulty of cosplaying this character lies in grasping the degree of emotion. Wakaba Mutsumi usually doesn't talk much, but she is not an empty person; she has her own firm musical beliefs. During the shoot, I tried my best to relax my facial muscles, without deliberately smiling, with my gaze carrying a slight sense of detachment while revealing a bit of introverted gentleness. I am very satisfied with the final photo results; both the texture of the clothing and the character's temperament met expectations. I hope friends who like BanG Dream! It's MyGO!!!!! and Ave Mujica can feel this dedication.
