These Tsukinomori trio fitting photos were actually taken a while ago, and today I have finally organized and shared them. Since this was primarily a fitting session, I covered my face with a smartphone for mirror selfies, hoping everyone can focus more on the costume's texture, wig shades, and overall silhouettes. This shooting approach without worrying about gaze or facial expressions feels quite relaxing—you can look straight into the mirror or camera lens to check the fit.

The outfits follow a cohesive sailor suit style featuring a dark navy body, white collar stripes, a gray ribbon tie, and a well-textured yellow badge on the chest, paired with a navy pleated skirt lined with white trim. The skirt has a structured cut that accentuates the waistline cleanly. The fabric is breathable yet has enough thickness to the touch, making it ideal for spring or early autumn. The stitching along the cuffs and collar is neat, showing careful craftsmanship in the finer details.

For Nagasaki Soyo cosplay, I paired the outfit with long straight mint-green hair and black over-the-knee socks for a classic Long socks cosplay look. This color combination is naturally subtle and elegant. Sitting on a white round stool accentuates the leg lines, and adding facial expression stickers was an attempt to mirror the character's card-art feel. Black socks are very slimming and forgiving on leg shapes; paired with this sailor uniform, her gentle aura shines through immediately.

For Wakaba Mutsumi cosplay, I opted for long brown hair and more reserved poses. Paired with the same black socks, that quiet, well-mannered vibe came across instantly. The contrasting sticker expressions also made it fun to match her card art aesthetic. As seen in the photos, she is portrayed as a quiet character in the official illustrations, so I picked a composed sitting posture during the fitting to match her personality.

For Sakiko Toyokawa cosplay, the wig features light blue twintails paired with white socks. The contrast between black and white socks gives the exact same uniform an entirely different charm. White socks bring a livelier, crisper look, establishing a clear contrast with the gentle poise of Nagasaki Soyo and Wakaba Mutsumi.

Regarding the styling process, prepping the wigs took some time across different hair colors and cuts—especially the twintails, where curling the ends properly and matching the ribbons on both sides required attention. The ombre wigs used here transition naturally, with smooth strands that resist tangling. I also tested several sitting positions; without showing my face, conveying character nuances through posture and socks was key. Crossing legs, relaxing naturally, or angling slightly sideways created distinctly different visuals.

After a test wash, the sailor suit showed no noticeable fading, and neither the ribbon tie nor the skirt pleats collapsed, which is a big plus. The photos were shot against a simple white backdrop, and post-editing only adjusted skin brightness without heavy modifications, preserving the original lines and textures. This clean look complements the school uniform theme perfectly. I might take these outdoors over the weekend for location shoots and try other poses.

The little bear design on the phone case served as part of the props, masking the face to keep attention focused squarely on the outfits. I picked a few shots representing the three distinct hairstyles and sock pairings, offering a well-rounded set when viewed together. Once new wigs arrive, I plan to shoot another version with different hairstyles.
