[Furina Cosplay] Genshin Impact — Makeup Details and Wig Styling Insights

In this Furina cosplay look from Genshin Impact, my main focus during the shoot was eye makeup accuracy. As noted in the post description, the contacts are actually heterochromatic (one dark and one light); although bright lighting in these selfies might make it hard to tell, this asymmetry in actual wear really helps convey her character personality. For contacts, I chose high-saturation Blue colored contact lenses paired with dense upper and lower lashes, giving eyes vivid energy in front of the lens—the core soul of the overall Cosplay makeup and styling.

The wig color features a white base with teal-blue highlights in a smooth texture so bangs fall naturally along the cheeks during Anime style selfie shots, modifying face shape without looking frizzy. Top wig texture required thinning and gentle combing to build layers without feeling too heavy.

For facial makeup, base makeup emphasized smooth matte texture. Since cameras wash out makeup, I didn't layer heavy eyeshadow, relying mainly on black eyeliner and lower lash line definition to enlarge the eyes. Lips used a hydrating, bright red-toned lip gloss to brighten skin tone and make the character feel lively and vibrant rather than pale.

Selfie angle is crucial to showcasing makeup details. Lowering and tilting the phone slightly for a low-angle selfie elongates the jawline while focusing visual attention on wig highlights and eye details. Note the white lace trim at the collar and the gold-and-purple neck collar accessory in the composition—exposing them slightly completes the upper body look.

The first image uses a large fist emoji covering the face, the second adds cute decorative stickers, and the last is the raw image without stickers. Different photos present different styles; if you prefer logo-free versions, the raw image better shows skin texture and fine makeup details. However, stickers add that lively touch characteristic of Anime style selfie posts.

Lighting is key in cosplay photography. Reflective contacts and wig color differences mean harsh light causes eye color distortion or turns the wig stark white, while dark light loses the teal-blue charm. Taking selfies in soft natural light balances skin tone and wig texture for natural results. The most time-consuming parts are always applying false lashes and trimming wigs, but to present the ideal character image, this preparation is worth it. Though these photos are close-up selfies without full costumes, collar details and hairstyle color keep the overall vibe tightly aligned with character traits—a makeup showcase that closely captures her spirit.
