The concept of pairing this red-and-black gothic dress with a pink guitar was to integrate the styling of Wakaba Mutsumi from Mujica into the chromatic tones of the Arknights style. Choosing a Merry-go-round venue at night was mainly inspired by the red canopy lighting; this expansive red light source cast against the black dress brings out gorgeous subtle textures while forming a striking contrast with the white necktie. The pink guitar prop was crafted with exceptional texture, with headstock details easily standing up to close-up shots. During shooting, a low-angle perspective was used to elongate leg proportions; paired with Black stockings and platform boots, it delivered far more visual impact than eye-level shots. Photographer Orange Soda deliberately preserved the linear contours of the Merry-go-round brass poles in the composition, merging the foreground guitar with the dreamy light bokeh of the background. The lens flare overexposure effect nicely offset the darkness of the night scene, while post-processing brightened the backlit skin tones to accentuate the cool, aloof makeup, allowing the red ambient light to wrap around the subject more naturally. We experimented with poses like sitting on horseback while playing the guitar and stepping on the stirrups, using the mechanical feel of the carousel horse to create a cold, solid structure. The setup of this photo series was very harmonious—without altering the original 2D character designs excessively, faithfully recreating the character's atmosphere through styling colorways and multi-angle perspectives served as another unique form of secondary creative expression.
