[Laffey cosplay] The Lazy White Stockings Bunny Girl in Azur Lane's Cyberpunk Bar

This Laffey cosplay photoshoot mainly aimed to try a combination of Cyberpunk and a lazy girl vibe. To present Laffey's dazed yet ready-for-battle state from Azur Lane, the scene was deliberately chosen with magenta neon tube setups. More than a dozen screens were scattered across the background wall, playing pixel-style Manjuu expressions and battle interfaces. Combined with a black-and-white checkered floor mat, a retro television, and scattered chess pieces, it altogether created a psychedelic underground bar vibe. Regarding the costume, the blue-and-white color-blocked sailor-style uniform is heavily embellished with pom-poms, with the huge white bunny ear hair accessory being the soul of the look. The inner white tights emit a faint blue hue under the purple cool light. To restore Laffey's daily feel, a huge yellow round ball doll and a small white plush toy were brought along during the shoot, maintaining a semi-hugged, semi-leaning posture throughout. The sleeping face shot lying sideways on the sofa in the third picture was actually a candid moment captured when I was resting because the outfit and bunny ears were particularly heavy. In post-processing, a color chart comparison was added nearby to maximize the texture of the cyberpunk purple and halos. As everyone knows, White stockings are very prone to overexposure in a purple light environment, so the lighting deliberately used a cooler main light source to suppress the ambient light, preserving the dimensionality of the face while balancing the highlight details along the edges of the White stockings. The panoramic shot in the second picture shows a large part of the scene: the scattered giant chess pieces, the retro TV on the ground, and the telephone beside it were all meant to enrich the storyline of the frame. Photographer Cat Refuses You is exceptionally skilled at capturing the texture of this low-key neon lighting, styling the frame with the taste of a film movie. The tilted composition in the fifth picture is a low-angle upward shot, paired with out-of-focus wine bottles in the foreground, adding a bit of a condescending sense of oppression from the character. This set of photos took a long time to coordinate from makeup, styling, and set design to lighting. Plus, the plush props were especially prone to catching lint, making the photo production process both painful and joyful.
