This Sunna styling took about half a month from initial preparation to the final photos. Upon receiving the Mint green wig, I trimmed the blunt bangs and used a curling iron to shape the mid-to-lower sections into natural wavy curls, applying a touch of hair oil to tame flyaways. The polka-dot hair clips on both sides of the crown and a black cutout triangle clip served as vital details faithful to the canon design; positioning them required constant angle adjustments to ensure they stayed visible across every camera perspective.
For the makeup, the base focused on achieving a translucent finish, while the eye makeup utilized a pink-brown palette blended across a broad area, gently downturning the eyeliner to enhance an innocent feel alongside green contact lenses. Generous blush swept across the center of the face and beneath the eyes formed the very soul of this makeup look, finished with a dewy pink lip glaze to cultivate a doll-like texture. Regarding the wardrobe, a white long-sleeve shirt was paired with a pink bow tie underneath a floral pinafore skirt, while the black leather crossbody strap studded with metal rivets across the chest injected a solid touch of techwear functionality.
The shooting day was actually quite rushed. The first set took place on a balcony where direct sunlight was intense and winds were strong; striving to capture frames before the hair blew wildly had me tilting my head toward the lens repeatedly, leaving my neck somewhat stiff. Afterward, we relocated indoors to a coffee shop where the lighting turned much softer. I prepared several props in advance, especially a red-and-white strawberry-shaped ceramic plate, which harmonized delightfully with the overall color scheme in hand. Although the caption jokingly referenced a pink piggy and a matcha-flavored mouse, when performing the poses I strived to embody Sunna's signature aura—slightly aloof yet subtly adorable.
The shots holding the strawberry plate are my absolute favorites. The composition partially masking the face accentuated the eyes and prevented facial stiffness while showcasing hand gestures and prop details. Shooting inside the café, the wooden tables and greenery in the background provided wonderful depth of field, enriching the visual layers of the frame.
Outdoor shoots are genuinely taxing on stamina, demanding constant attention to keeping garments smooth, wigs tidy, and shifting facial orientation according to ambient light. This photo set emerged from countless trials across varied lighting setups and framing distances before curating the final selection. While the process was exhausting, seeing how harmoniously the mint green hair color coexisted with the pink bow within the frame made it deeply satisfying.
