[Seed cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero Cyberpunk techwear style, full of detailed restoration

Today, this set of Seed's cosplay costume has finally officially released photos. To perfectly present the unique temperament of this character in Zenless Zone Zero, I spent a lot of thought on preparing the costume. What attracted me most about this outfit is its techwear cosplay design, with white as the main color tone, but very bold in its tailoring. The top is made of a translucent material paired with black splicing edges, giving a sense of future technology. The clothes are scattered with many yellow drawstrings and straps; these details are particularly tense during shooting, but they also need to be constantly tidied up to prevent them from tangling together. The lower body is white tight long pants, with cut-out treatments at the thighs and knees, wearing them gives both a mechanical feel and a hint of sexiness. The legs are tied with black safety belt buckles, and the ankles have gray cuffs. Since the character setting is barefoot, I also went barefoot during the shooting. Standing on the dark floor at first was quite chilly, but after adapting, I was completely immersed in the character. That black collar with a silver metal ring on the neck, matched with a black four-leaf clover pendant, is definitely the finishing touch of the whole styling. There is also that glove with a white mechanical structure on the wrist; the arm part is very long, directly covering the upper arm, and you have to carefully adjust it when putting it on and taking it off, otherwise it slips off easily. The wig styling is also a major focus: light blue short hair, with thin braids on the sides, and a small ahoge on top of the head, paired with blue contact lenses and makeup with a bit of pink blush, the overall look has a strong three-dimensional sense of an anime character. The silver metal hairpin between the hair is also specially customized and won't easily fall off. The shooting scene was chosen in an indoor studio with an industrial style, with black wire mesh, blue neon tubes, and retro instrument equipment and wooden boxes in the background. These elements match Seed's background setting particularly well. In terms of action design, I tried many different poses, such as sitting on a wooden box with one leg straight, or lifting one leg to make a jumping posture, and that action of lying on a black leather sofa. To showcase the cut-out on the waist and abdomen of the clothes and the leg lines, the range of motion would be relatively large. When posing, I had to pay special attention to the placement of my hands and feet, because barefoot shooting would hurt a bit after rubbing against the ground for a long time, and there were many mechanical props, so I had to pay attention to safety at all times. Putting on and taking off this outfit is relatively troublesome, especially those straps and buckles, and every arrangement takes a lot of time. But seeing the texture of light and shadow hitting the white clothes and blue hair in the final photos, I feel everything is worth it. I am quite satisfied with the restoration degree of this makeup and styling myself, and I hope you like this sharing. Speaking of the fabric this time, the translucency of the top actually tests lighting a lot under strong light. To prevent the clothes from reflecting excessively and causing overexposure, the photographer adjusted the light positions many times. The safety belt style design on the waist and legs is very complex; the yellow and black alternating straps not only play a decorative role, but can also visually segment body proportions. When wearing those long gloves, finger movement is actually somewhat restricted, but for the sake of the completeness of the character styling, these can all be overcome. While taking photos, I kept paying attention to the delivery of the gaze, because Seed's character personality tends to be calm and professional, so in front of the lens I would try my best to restrain my expressions and use some cooler poses to echo this techwear cosplay outfit. In addition, regarding the conception of actions, barefoot actually has very high requirements for the ground, and we cleaned the venue several times before the official start. For the shot lying on the leather sofa, because the sofa was very slippery, I had to use core strength to stabilize my body while maintaining the extension of my legs. The leg-lifting action looks easy, but actually requires very good balance, especially wearing pants with this kind of binding feeling. The glossiness of the wig's hair strands presented under lighting was very good, and the position of the hairpin was repeatedly adjusted according to the perspective. The entire shooting process is more like a deep exploration of the character setting—not just putting on clothes, but expressing through body language. This outfit is not just a visual restoration, wearing it also made me feel that firmness and softness belonging to the Cyberpunk world.
