This Cifera gear is really heavy to wear, especially the golden armor and knee pads on the legs; the hard materials severely limit joint movement. Today, I attempted this feline-like crouching posture, hoping to recreate the character's nimble yet slightly wild vibe. During the shoot, I repeatedly adjusted the angle of my arm support, trying to seamlessly connect the lines of my back with the curve of the tail.
Frankly speaking, this pose requires a lot of core strength and flexibility. I felt like I could have pressed down even lower, but for my first time shooting it, I'm quite satisfied with this result. The metal pieces and blue fluorescent details on the costume look amazing under the studio-style lights, and the cat ears and wig were styled multiple times to achieve smooth curves.
The lighting at the convention venue was quite complex, but luckily the photographer captured a relatively clean angle, beautifully bringing out the white fluff of the tail and the gloss of the boots. Although my body isn't as flexible as a real cat's, trying my best to present Cifera's cool, fierce, and mysterious aura means I haven't let down this meticulously prepared gear for this Anime cosplay showcase.
