Regarding this Sparkle look, a huge amount of time was spent refining everything from wig trimming to costume and makeup details. The wig has a silver-white base with that signature streak of orange-red dye on the side; to recreate that light and slightly messy texture from the game, it was intentionally layered and thinned out. The eye makeup uses red eyeshadow as the main tone, outlining an upturned fox eye at the corner, paired with red colored contacts, attempting to find that slyness and alertness belonging to Sparkle in the photos. The tailoring of the costume is very interesting. The red, black, and white color-blocked design is extremely eye-catching, and the wide water sleeves and fluffy skirt hem carry a touch of theatricality even when standing perfectly still. In terms of props, the addition of the disco ball was actually intended to enhance the dreamy feel of the background, creating some light spots to make the originally cool-toned indoor environment look more lively. The combination of black boots and black gloves is my favorite in the fifth photo. During the shoot, I was also thinking about how to grasp the character's innocent yet slightly dangerous trait, avoiding exaggerated expressions and enhancing the quality of the frame through subtle adjustments of the gaze. The biggest difference between 2D photography and game character art lies in the need to inject a breath of a living person; the focal point of the gaze and the relaxation of body language are both vital, which is also where I felt most deeply during this shoot.
