[Cifera Cosplay] Honkai: Star Rail Cifera Pure White Studio photography Record

This time shooting Cifera from Honkai: Star Rail in a pure white Studio photography session, the overall photo output effect was very clean and sharp. The seamless white background made the texture of the black-and-gold colored costume particularly eye-catching. Without messy elements interfering, the visual focus was completely concentrated on the character and the costume's tailoring.

Let's first talk about the wearing experience of this costume. The black glossy leather corset is very picky about lighting; during the shoot, it was necessary to constantly communicate with the photographer to adjust the light position to avoid large areas of dead-white reflection. The white spliced fabric on the chest, the golden badge decoration, and the black belt and metal hardware buckles at the waist are very rich in layers. The most time-consuming part during wearing and adjusting was positioning these accessories, ensuring they are left-right symmetrical and conform to the body curves. The black fingerless gloves and sleeves on the arms are also packed with details; to allow free movement while keeping the leather stiff, some fixing treatments were done inside.

The head styling design also requires thought. The silver-gray wig was trimmed with a sense of layering, paired with bright blue contact lenses, bringing out the sharpness of the gaze instantly. The white animal ears on top of the head are one of the souls of the entire styling, firmly secured to the wig with a hair net and multiple invisible hairpins, so there is no need to worry about them falling off when making movements. The huge white plush tail behind is the visual center of gravity, supported internally by a steel wire skeleton, so even when performing the action of lifting the left leg, the tail can still maintain a fluffy arc without drooping limply.

In terms of action design, I chose a pose with the right hand slightly bent to one side of the head, the left hand extended horizontally to the side, and the left leg bent with the toe touching the ground slightly. This posture not only fully displays the costume's tailoring, but also brings out Cifera's playful yet somewhat combat-oriented personality. Because the golden leg armor and long boots are made of special-shaped materials with three-dimensional geometric textures, they present completely different metallic lusters under different lighting angles. The blue heels of the high-heeled boots are a highlight of the shoes, but when posing, it requires relying on the forefoot and leg strength to maintain balance while elongating the leg lines, showcasing the sexiness and coolness of the asymmetrical design.

During the shooting process, I especially like to capture the moment when the limbs are extended. Since the background is pure white, the visual tension of the frame relies entirely on the extension of the limbs. The side-body angle can well outline the waistline, and the bending of the legs not only makes the frame more dynamic, but also naturally showcases the texture of the golden leg armor conforming to the leg curves. The trajectory of the tail and the open arms form a visual balance. The fur texture of the tail appears particularly soft under strong light, forming a strong material contrast with the toughness of the leather clothing.

For the makeup part, to match the silver hair and blue eyes, the eye makeup used an earth-tone base with deepened outer corners, avoiding overly heavy false eyelashes, but instead elongating the eye shape through eyeliner to maintain a cool yet spirited temperament. The lip color was chosen as a light flesh-pink to avoid stealing the focus from the eye styling. Highlighter was applied to the cheekbones and nose tip, ensuring the face still has a three-dimensional structure under strong light.

This Cifera costume is a huge test of details in terms of the number of accessories and material splicing. From the smoothness of the leather clothes to the fixation of the tail, to the anti-slip properties of the metal leg armor, every step requires a preliminary plan. The light and shadow transition of the final photos is very soft, the white background is clean and pure, the black, white, and gold color combination is classic and timeless, and I am very satisfied with the overall visual fullness.
