[March 7th cosplay] Honkai: Star Rail: Pink-Haired Girl's Dreamy Indoor Photoshoot

The March 7th cosplay set from Honkai: Star Rail that I shot this time is finally sorted out! The raw photos shot on the XT10 camera turned out with extremely clean and translucent colors, brightening up the overall aura of the makeup and hair. I've always wanted to shoot this pink-haired, blue-skirted look, and I finally gathered the team and props for this Indoor photoshoot.

Speaking of the outfit, the primary color scheme of blue and white is very fresh, with the shoulder's gradient purple shimmering satin and black choker creating a layered color contrast. The striking orange strap on the waist girdle serves as the visual anchor, keeping my poses grounded. The compound bow prop was actually quite tough to hold, especially when mimicking a bow-drawing action without over-stretching the string; my arm would ache for a while every time I put it down after a shot. The photographer really knew how to utilize the venue's natural light.

The scene setup was definitely a huge bonus for this set. Distressed white wooden doorframes, low wooden cabinets, and a wooden easel holding a canvas, paired with thin, semi-transparent white sheer drapes, allowed natural light to illuminate the blue-purple shades on the outfit with remarkable clarity. Nearby stood a white angel statue and a vintage Roman numeral clock; I felt these props carrying a subtle Western retro charm created a wonderful chemical reaction with the character's lively and cute nature. We mostly spent time interacting with the props inside this studio.

Since my natural hair color is quite light, the texture of this pink wig was crucial; it was styled light and fluffy so it wouldn't look like a helmet. I was in a great mood during the shoot, making small playful gestures like sitting on the cabinet with legs crossed or kneeling down while raising the bow. Paired with a single black fingerless glove, the whole Cosplay photography process went very smoothly.

Once the final photos came out, the lightweight yet slightly playful feel pretty much hit the look I was hoping for. What surprised me a bit, though, was realizing during photo layout that I had so many peace-sign poses! Perhaps this harmless, gentle cuteness is precisely March 7th's signature trait. The frames recorded in this set serve as the best keepsake from this Indoor photoshoot.
