Finally, I managed to shoot the long-awaited Erii photo set. To recreate that intertwined atmosphere of Japanese style and loneliness, we put a lot of thought into the scene setup. The wooden corridor, warm yellow square paper lanterns, cascading pink cherry blossoms, and that red-and-white Japanese umbrella—every single prop was meant to build that world belonging to her.

In terms of costume, this red-and-white color-blocked kimono is truly exquisite. The voluminous cuffs and skirt hem feel quite heavy when walking, yet this also increased the difficulty of the shoot. To showcase a sense of lightness, while shooting the first look-back shot, I repeatedly experimented with flicking the skirt hem several times before finally capturing that exact moment when the skirt corner fluttered and the hair strands drifted just right. The wig chose a vibrant, high-saturation true red, and I meticulously trimmed the bangs and wispy sideburns to closely match that obedient yet slightly naive hairstyle from the original work, while the twin-tail styling also referenced the original novel's setting. The accessories—black half-finger gloves, White stockings, and geta—were all crafted with great effort to restore the details.

When shooting the reclining pose in the third photo, it was actually quite challenging because the costume has numerous layers, coupled with the bright red skirt hem. After lying down, I constantly had to adjust the clothing wrinkles to make the frame look layered without appearing bulky. Then there's that small yellow rubber duck—it is truly the core prop. While shooting the sitting pose, I deliberately held the little yellow duck in my hands, wanting to convey her simple and pure personality.

The sunlight on the day of the shoot was wonderful, casting light and shadows onto the wooden floor and filtering down through the cherry blossom trees, creating a warm illusion. This echoed that famous line: "A grand escape toward the sunlight." Even though we are all little monsters who might be defeated by righteous Ultraman, at that exact moment frozen by the lens, I wanted to do my best to express her quietness, purity, and trace of destiny. Although the entire shooting process was tiring, seeing the final photos made me feel that all the costume and prop preparations and pose adjustments were entirely worthwhile.
