Challenging Saya from The Song of Saya this time gave me a deeper understanding of the character. To restore the Atmosphere that is both repressive and eerie, I put a lot of detailed work into the makeup, styling, and clothing. The minimalist white dress forms a strong visual contrast with the dark hair, attempting to convey the contradiction of struggling between purity and filth. During the shooting, I kept thinking about the loneliness deep within Saya's heart; that sense of alienation from the world is the core of this character. Although the visual expression of some scenes might make people feel a chill or even bring some visual impact, it is this extreme aesthetic of repression that constitutes the unique charm of this character. To pursue higher Character reproduction, I specifically chose some venues with an Atmosphere, combined with lighting changes, to let the whole set of works present a textured visual effect. Through this cosplay, I am not only practicing the depth of character shaping, but also trying to use the lens to capture those indescribable emotions. I hope everyone can feel that unique, even slightly crazy artistic expression from these photos.
