This time, I tried Alice's pink-themed styling. From overall visual planning to the actual shoot, I adhered closely to the character's design concept. First was the wig: I selected light-pink long straight hair styled with blunt bangs and long side locks to frame the face and accentuate the character's adorable charm. The beanie was a specially sourced pink-and-white color-blocked design featuring small white beast-ear accents, with the brim angle carefully adjusted to enhance detail.
For the outfit, I wore a white hooded sweatshirt with signature design elements—featuring pink-and-white plaid across the chest, pink inner sleeves, and white drawstrings. To increase fidelity on camera, I also paired it with pink backpack straps. For makeup, I created a Youthful makeup look blending earth tones and soft pink eyeshadow, complemented by large-diameter brown contact lenses and dense false eyelashes, with blush applied generously to craft a manga-like doll face aesthetic.
Considering lighting and indoor settings, I deliberately utilized soft ambient indoor light combined with the smartphone lens's natural perspective. Because this photo set was primarily taken from selfie angles, to compensate for perspective limitations, post-processing aligned closely with 2D character proportions—enlarging the eyes and harmonizing the overall pink palette. Unable to shoot outdoors, I utilized background blur principles to fade messy indoor surroundings into the background, keeping the focus sharp on the character.
Compared to characters centered around combat or seductive aesthetics, Alice's design exudes a wonderfully refreshing and pure innocence; her iconic line "Shall we go to the kingdom of happiness?" fits this pastel, dreamy vibe perfectly. This set did not focus on figure or leg contours, placing its main emphasis on nuanced facial expressions and atmospheric temperament. I spent considerable time refining my expressions to convey that innocent, wide-eyed anticipation. When cosplaying characters like this, I love experimenting with makeup ratios, and I was especially pleased with the cat-like blush placement.
The entire process from makeup trials to final edits took about a week, covering hat selection, wig grooming, and outfit coordination. Because this look offers great versatility, the shooting process was very smooth. I hope everyone feels the soft, adorable sweetness of the character through these photos. Post-processing was meticulous—particularly skin retouching, preserving authentic texture without excessive airbrushing to look natural and lifelike. In all, it was a truly special cosplay experience.

Because the actual texture of the costume and wig was fantastic, holding them in my hands made it instantly worthwhile.
