Today I'm sharing my costume fitting review for Amiya's Alice outfit! First, huge praise goes to Kieed—the pose coaching and shooting angles were absolutely brilliant, perfectly highlighting the dress's dynamic grace and moody atmosphere. This costume by Yiyomi is stunningly gorgeous with dedicated tailoring; when twirling, the flare and silhouette of the skirt are especially breathtaking. Lifting the skirt hem reveals rich tiers of blue-and-white ruffled frills, delivering an opulent visual feast. The subtle accents are handled with great precision—from the black and blue ribbon bows adorning the bodice and hem to the metallic ring prop, which carries a satisfying, weighty heft that gives it incredible tactile quality.
However, the fitting did reveal a few minor drawbacks. The cut can look a bit bulky and broad on the figure, particularly around the shoulders and arms. During shooting, I constantly tucked my arms in and searched for flattering angles to streamline my silhouette and avoid looking puffy. While the metal rings are exquisitely crafted, they run slightly loose on my fingers, requiring extra care while holding the teacup so they wouldn't slip off. I also have to gently critique the included stockings: the construction is somewhat lacking, without tapered ankle elastication, so they don't hug the legs snugly and tend to bunch up with wrinkles when walking or seated. While hardly noticeable at a glance, it's a slight pity for cosplayers who obsess over precision.
The stockings feature a patchwork of black-and-white checkerboard patterns and vertical stripes; the design concept itself fits the whimsical aesthetic perfectly, but the fabric stretch and tailoring could use refinement. For instance, the seated pose on the floor holding a teacup puts overall posture to the test: since the flaring skirt occupies massive volume, keeping the back strictly upright was essential to maintain regal composure. In the standing shot lifting the skirt, I shifted my weight onto one leg while extending the other forward to elongate leg lines and make the black and white stockings pop prominently. Despite the bulkier tailoring, minor adjustments—like dropping the shoulders and tucking in the arms—yielded deeply satisfying photos. Overall, the cost-performance ratio of this set is remarkable—for 288 RMB, what more could you ask for? This fitting also taught me valuable styling and posing tips. My apologies in advance if any expressions or mannerisms fell slightly out of character (OOC apologies!). I hope to bring an even better performance next time!
