[Amiya cosplay] Arknights: An Outdoor Journey with Rhode Island's Bunny - Image 1

For this photoshoot, Amiya cosplay photos were taken in bright outdoor woods, sitting directly on a rough tree stump to present a natural feel in this Casual cosplay session, echoing an outfit that blends both techwear and academic styles in Outdoor photography.

The entire outfit incorporates many richly layered details. The upper body features a white ruffled inner top layered under a loose-fit dark jacket with light blue spliced accent lines on the shoulders and fine textures at the cuffs. Around the neck, a dark ruffled bow tie paired with an eye-catching green gemstone brooch serves as a visual highlight against the dark palette. The lower body features a blue-green plaid pleated mini skirt paired with pure black tights—a classic Black tights outfit combination that elongates visual proportions while matching the character's capable demeanor. On my feet are black platform loafers, with a cyan-blue band decoratively worn around the left ankle, adding a vibrant pop of color to the black footwear. Several metallic rings worn on fingers also give the styling greater texture.

Regarding hairstyle and headwear, brown straight hair with bangs fitting the original setting was chosen. That iconic pair of long rabbit ears atop the head is the soul of the look, crafted from soft materials to preserve the character's approachability without obscuring facial features. In facial expression control, I deliberately refrained from smiling, looking at the lens with a relatively calm and focused gaze, striving to express the character's underlying trait of inner resilience and firmness beneath a youthful exterior in Arknights.

Outdoor sunlight on the shooting day was very strong, with highlights filtering through canopy gaps to form a dreamy backlit halo at the top left of the frame. Although such intense light poses challenges—like carefully controlling exposure to prevent a dark face—the final render turned out exceptionally stunning. That warm light flare wrapped around the character's outline, softening the overall atmosphere naturally. The rough bark texture of the tree stump formed a great tactile contrast against the smooth fabric of the garments. Wearing cosplay attire in such authentic settings to feel the character's mindset makes immersion far easier, which is the main reason I insist on Outdoor photography under natural light, hoping to present a vibrant, authentic 2D texture.
