The moment I put on this outfit, I could feel its overall tailoring was truly invincible. The main body of the costume utilizes a black liquid leather fabric; whether tactilely up close or through its sheen and reflective finish on camera, it far surpasses ordinary faux leather or matte leather materials. This material allows the entire outfit to maintain excellent three-dimensional depth and a premium feel even without strong lighting, while the fabric's tension is balanced perfectly to fit slimly while providing adequate room for movement.
The shoulder armor design was also crafted thoughtfully; although it outwardly appears to be structured metallic armor, its actual weight is kept remarkably light. Combined with the surface gloss coating and edge trimming, the texture doesn't feel cheap despite being lightweight. However, a very practical pain point during this Cosplay fitting is that because the shoulder armor is a rigid 3D structure and the top is extremely form-fitting, trying to put it on alone in a room before a mirror takes considerable effort, often requiring repeated angle adjustments to snap the shoulder armor into place properly.
The design logic behind the hat is exceptionally convenient, adopting a detachable separate structure from the main body rather than traditional stitched attachment. This approach significantly improves storage, wearing, and taking it off. Moreover, the snap buttons inside the hat connecting to the collar fit seamlessly; simply aligning the position and pressing lightly secures it firmly, making one-handed operation fairly easy.
At the same time, I must praise the bundled plush cat ear accessory. When unboxing and holding it initially, looking purely at the thin metal headband's size made me feel it was slightly small, worrying for a moment if it would feel awkward or unstable on the head. But putting it on instantly changed my mind; compared to traditional clip-on ears that fall off easily, this integrated headband snaps securely onto the crown. Most critically, its synergy with the detachable hat is flawless. Put on the cat ears first and then the hat, and the ears' metal skeleton slots directly into the wire structure reserved inside the hat. Once on, the whole hat feels like it grows straight out of your head, fitting as naturally and snugly as if capping a cat hat seamlessly over yourself.
Of course, in practical use, this outfit exposed a prominent design flaw: the anti-slip performance of the leg covers. Although silicone grip strips are sewn along the inner thighs, they fail to provide the intended hold during wear. Merely walking around or making camera movements like squats and bends causes noticeable slipping and bunching of the leg covers. While they won't slip down to the ankles completely, needing to constantly pull them up hurts one's mindset and shooting efficiency during dynamic shoots. To achieve optimal performance later, it is indeed necessary to add a separate garter belt or additional anti-slip buckles based on this Cosplay experience.
Overall, while this outfit features numerous accessories and a complex deconstructive cut, the black, white, gold, and blue color coordination is well-controlled without feeling cluttered. The square blue waist pouch, accent round buckles, and high-slit asymmetric hem visually optimize body proportions significantly. The current overall output of this Cosplay fitting is satisfying; once the leg cover anti-slip issue is resolved, I can confidently prepare for outdoor shoots.
