[Fugue Cosplay] Honkai: Star Rail: Ancient-Style Kemonomimi girl Fitting Showcase

Trying on Mangu Studio's full outfit for Fugue Cosplay, this log captures my detailed fitting impressions. The primary color palette of this costume is a blend of deep brown, vibrant orange, and gold. The fabric has a distinct reflective sheen with structured rigidity that holds its shape nicely for shoots.

The top features an asymmetrical off-the-shoulder cut lined with semi-sheer pink chiffon, paired with 3D golden flowers at the chest and waist to create a striking visual impact. The expansive outer sleeves are the highlight of the styling, pieced in orange-red and brown with white peony patterns; they boast wonderful drape and lend a truly opulent presence. The skirt features a high slit over a pale white petticoat lining, creating layered depth that gracefully reveals leg lines in motion. To better match the character's aura, I specifically styled it with classic black stiletto high heels to elongate the calves, accentuating slender leg lines through the slit.

For hair, I used a deep reddish-brown long curly wig topped with a pair of fluffy white beast ears for an authentic Kemonomimi girl look. The ears have a comfortable weight, though wearing them for extended periods causes slight pressure, requiring proper positioning to maintain the overall look.

This try-on highlighted Mangu Studio's garment quality. The fabric is smooth, with clean edges around the gold trims and flowers without loose threads. The 3D flowers on the chest are delicately crafted and should look stunning under convention lighting. Due to the wide sleeves and long skirt, minding one's posture is essential to avoid stepping on the hem. While the slit skirt paired with high heels commands strong presence, it sets high standards for posture.

I checked the mirror repeatedly during the fitting, mainly adjusting my walking gait so the slit skirt billows with each step to reveal the inner layer, creating a flattering silhouette. The off-shoulder cut requires good shoulder and neckline posture, yet exudes effortless elegance when styled with the accessories.

Overall, the fitting experience was fantastic. The tailoring and craftsmanship are highly professional, offering great drape and an exceptional silhouette on-body. The mirror selfie accurately captures the complete look, leaving me thrilled with the styling and fabric quality. Checking from every angle in front of the mirror, the fluffy ears and slit skirt balanced the lower center of gravity from the black heels beautifully. The sleeve drape gently slides down when lifting arms, adding dynamic fluidity to movements. The cut is very forgiving on body proportions, especially with the gold floral accents on the shoulders and waist concealing any fitting flaws to harmonize the overall silhouette. Wearing it felt comfortable and unrestricted, and handling the skirt was effortless.
