Regarding this Kamisato Ayaka cosplay fitting, the overall fidelity turned out much better than I anticipated. Because character designs in Genshin Impact feature rich visual layering, getting the physical costume required considerable refining—from the wig color palette to the garment tailoring. Today's session was mainly a casual snap in my home fitting room and wooden floor area, aiming to check the actual worn effect and get a feel for upcoming formal outdoor shoots.

For hair, I used a silver-white-grey wig. This tone looks exceptionally gentle under warm indoor lighting, and paired with the iconic pink butterfly knot hairpins on both sides, it immediately signals the signature traits of the Heron Princess. Styling the updo required a fair number of bobby pins to secure, yet it remains lightweight and comfortable—far easier to wear out without heavy burden compared to bulky historical wigs. Sharp-eyed friends might notice I deliberately blocked my face with a yellow-green bear phone case while taking photos; that's a personal habit during the fitting phase to keep the costume itself as the visual focal point.

As for outfit coordination, the white upper garment offers great structural crispness with a crossover collar design, which proves immensely practical when recreating Japanese traditional elements—neither choking the neck nor failing to flatter shoulder lines. Pale blue ribbons hang gently from both shoulders, serving as a bright, delightful detail in the overall look. The lower half pairs deep blue wide-leg trousers (or pleated skirt-pants), which are extremely friendly for Cosplay fitting activities. Allowing for frequent crouching or wide movements, this loose bottom prevents accidental exposure while offering excellent drape that flows naturally when seated.

Selecting this photo as the cover made me quite satisfied with the relaxed seated pose. Sitting directly on the wooden floor with legs extended, the white lace crew socks and clean wood floor create a light visual harmony. The white top and deep blue trousers form a pleasing color contrast that balances the composition. I've noticed that in Anime-style fashion photography, people often prioritize camera crispness and dynamic tension. However, during a Cosplay fitting phase, I lean toward a sense of effortless ease. On one hand, it makes it easier to inspect garment fit, loose threads, or awkward tailoring; on the other hand, it allows me to quickly adapt to the character's physical presence. Wearing this attire naturally tempers overly exaggerated movements, adopting a poised yet subtly lively demeanor.

The cartoon stickers added to the picture are part of this casual fitting record, adding a playful touch that softens the formality of official costume tests. If taking this to comic conventions or street strolls, the breathable fabric comfortably handles the outing despite its decent thickness. While taking phone selfies, I thought that adding her iconic sword prop would make the ensemble complete.
