For this Genshin Impact Lynette cosplay, I dedicated a lot of effort to the costume details. What best flatters the figure in this entire ensemble is without doubt the black leather corset vest; the lace-up cords in the back have to be pulled tight to cinch an ideal waistline, which, paired with the metal zipper and buckles, gives the leather's sheen incredible texture under the studio lights. For the inner white blouse, I deliberately chose a slightly sheer fabric, where the wide French cuffs and golden cufflinks bring a bright contrast to the overall dark palette. The blue, gold, and brown bow tie on the chest serves as the visual centerpiece, echoing beautifully with the blue square capelet in back and the teal pleated skirt.

For the wig, I selected a pale, whitish platinum-blonde, trimming the bangs and side locks to complement the built-in braids. Once the plush Cat ears were attached, the lively, agile essence of a feline girl immediately shone through. The makeup focused on deepening the eye contours, and I used an eyeliner pen to gently emphasize the teardrop beauty mark on the cheek, boosting the character's distinct recognition. For props, I prepared a deck of playing cards and a blue top hat, while securing the tail with safety pins behind the skirt hem so it swayed naturally with my movements.

To highlight the long legs in Stockings, I paired the look with black lace-up chunky-heeled boots, allowing the dark gray sheer stockings to contour the leg lines smoothly. During the shoot, I tested several different poses: bending one knee backward while lifting the leg fully revealed the layered volume of the pleated skirt, whereas holding a playing card between my lips was meant to convey that effortless, mysterious flair of a magician. Another pose had me holding up the cards with both hands while standing upright, which cleanly accentuated the curves shaped by the corset. For the shot with the top hat, I deliberately extended my arm outward to infuse more dynamic tension into the frame.

When shooting a character with an aloof, slightly mature, and enigmatic aura, expression control is crucial. You can't smile too broadly; the eyes need to carry a touch of languid confidence with an occasional hint of playful nonchalance. Although the studio environment is clean, you still have to summon the character's mindset yourself. Especially during larger poses, keeping the core tight ensures the posture doesn't look slouched or weak. Even though the session took a fair amount of stamina, seeing the glossy highlights on the leather corset and the fine texture of the Stockings in the finished shots made every drop of sweat totally worth it.
