This Makeup test sharing record focuses primarily on capturing the demeanor and presence of Feixiao from Honkai: Star Rail. To recreate that calm yet powerful aura, I put a tremendous amount of thought into the makeup. The blue contact lenses are the soul of the gaze: I first used concealer over the edges of my natural pupils before wearing these high-saturation blue lenses. The eye makeup was built with delicate gradient blending, using deep brown to darken the outer corners and black eyeliner drawn out with a subtle upward flick to make the gaze look sharper. The eyebrows were shaped with firm, structured strokes, which, paired with crimson lips, exuded an imposing presence. The base foundation aimed for clean, pristine clarity to highlight the intricate motifs of the costume.

In terms of styling, handling the wig demanded immense patience. The white hair had to be smooth yet layered. I specifically dyed the tips with a translucent cyan-blue so it would showcase a gradient texture under backlighting. I adjusted the angle and height of the beast ears for this Kemonomimi cosplay to make them sit more naturally. The black totem tattoo on my arm was a crucial detail, drawn with care to keep the line work fluid.

The outfit features a teal-green halter-neck design; the generous cut flatters the shoulder and neck contours while matching the character's crisp, capable style. The two-tone red and silver tassels across the chest sway gracefully in motion, adding dynamism to static frames. Paired with a white belt, black shorts, and studded fingerless gloves on the bottom, the entire ensemble looks exceptionally sharp. In the third photo, I slipped on the white jacket, whose structured lines and gold accents add a bold aesthetic that looks all the more dashing alongside the long high ponytail.

For shooting, clean lighting was key—backlighting best accentuates the delicate silhouette of individual hair strands. To showcase the beauty of side profiles, I experimented with an over-the-shoulder glance, which Pic 2 was specifically designed for. The range of motion and eye focus went through multiple micro-adjustments to convey crisp, effortless strength. A makeup test is all about discovering and solving issues—such as securing loose costume parts or taming flyaways on the wig—all accumulating valuable experience for upcoming official shoots. Wearing this getup, my own temperament felt genuinely transformed by the character. Styling the white wig took the longest; creating a fluffy yet neat texture took over an hour just for curling. The eyeliner wings were also refined repeatedly to ensure they held shape from any angle. When photographing, lighting is paramount: to highlight the texture of the costume and the translucency of the wig, I picked a clean background and repositioned reflectors so light streamed primarily from the back and sides. This not only chiseled the body silhouette, but also made the red lips and blue eyes command immediate attention.
