For this Cosplay makeup test, I chose Cyrene from Honkai: Star Rail, featuring a combination of a blue-purple off-the-shoulder jacket and a white inner top. The wig is a custom-dyed pink wig, styled into a bob haircut with strong layers, with the ends slightly curled to make the overall silhouette fluffier and more natural. The coordination between the blue colored contact lenses and the eye makeup was crucial; I intentionally deepened the eyeliner and elongated the outer corners of the eyes to make the gaze look more spirited. As for the outfit, the light gray swirl pattern on the white inner top is hand-stamped, while the black wrist straps and rune prints on the jacket cuffs are exceptionally fine. The golden star-shaped belt buckle and orange-red gemstone necklace add substantial texture. Side-backlighting was used during shooting; warm tones hit the hair and fabric, highlighting the subtle sheen of the outer fabric and its contrast with the cuff's pink lining. Since there were no overly complex poses, the focus was mainly on trying different angles to convey the character's composure—natural gestures such as making a hand heart, clasping hands, or reaching out better showcase the structure and tailoring of the costume. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this makeup test. I will refine the shoulder strap fit and hair accessory positioning later to strive for a more complete presentation in the final shoot.
