For ALA convention Day 4, I wore this casual outfit of Chihaya Anon: a gray pinafore plaid skirt outfit paired with a white shirt, black-rimmed glasses, and a long Pink wig, achieving a fairly high level of character restoration overall. This time, the makeup focused on keeping the eye makeup and blush light and fresh. Since the character herself has an energetic girl persona, the base makeup was kept as clean and translucent as possible, paired with pink-toned eyeshadow and natural lip color so it wouldn't feel overly heavy. The night before, I carefully trimmed the bangs and sideburns of the wig and added light texture with styling wax so the glasses wouldn't look out of place, also pinning a small white flower on top as decoration to stay faithful to the original details.

After entering the venue, I first went in front of the backdrop board to take check-in photos, throwing up a peace sign in front of the backdrop printed with event logos. Although the background had repeating patterns, the even lighting resulted in a high yield of good photos. Later, while resting near the floor-to-ceiling windows, I found that a brown curved sofa was just right for seated photos. I turned slightly sideways and stretched out my legs, which visually elongated my proportions while showcasing the combination of the gray plaid skirt hem and white calf-high socks. The advantage of this sofa spot was its clean background—outside the window, palm trees and buildings were visible without looking cluttered, and the natural light filtering through was very soft on the face, yielding a translucent complexion without extra fill lighting.

While wandering into the center of the exhibition hall, I spotted a motorcycle covered in anime stickers; the body featured a purple-and-black palette, with a neat row of plush dolls arranged on top. I crouched down to take a photo with this bike. Here, it was important to tidy up the skirt hem to prevent excessive wrinkles while crouching, while angling the body slightly toward the camera, resting one hand on the knee and holding a doll with the other, looking slightly away from the lens or looking down a bit to capture a more casual, candid atmosphere. There was a safety warning sign saying 'Do Not Touch' nearby, so I made sure to keep a respectful distance while taking photos to remain a considerate convention attendee.

I met many interesting people at this convention as well. Near the booths, I bumped into two other cosplayers who were also resting—one wearing a red uniform skirt and the other in a black-and-blue stage costume. We gathered to help each other check poses and angles, while chatting about prop maintenance tips and wig care techniques. In the afternoon by the wall, I also encountered a fully armored knight cosplayer, whose cape, helmet, and sun emblem on the chest were all exquisitely crafted. Standing next to him, I posed covering my face with both hands while he spread his arms wide in an imposing stance, creating a great visual contrast. When taking photos with friends in heavy armor, composition requires extra attention: letting them occupy a substantial portion of the frame while serving as the visual balance on the other side ensures both people's presence is completely captured.

After a full day of touring the convention, although walking for hours in heeled loafers left my feet slightly sore, seeing so many exquisite outfits and sharing photography insights with everyone made the day feel immensely fulfilling. Choosing an outfit that leans toward everyday school fashion made walking around and sitting down to rest very convenient, and the fabric doesn't wrinkle easily, making it ideal for conventions that require long hours of walking. Browsing from morning until afternoon, admiring the doujin creations at various booths, and soaking in the lively on-site atmosphere truly made this day well worth the trip.
