This photoshoot features the classic styling of Minazuki Hotaru from Amatsutsumi. Upon receiving the costume, I immediately inspected every detail: a white Sailor suit cosplay top with a black sailor collar, accented by a red bow tie at the neckline and black striping on the cuffs, paired with a matching black pleated skirt. To recreate the authentic campus ambiance, I specially coordinated black calf-length socks with lace-trimmed details, alongside glossy dark leather loafers. For the wig, I selected a shoulder-length brown cut; the bangs required delicate styling to achieve a natural, airy volume, particularly that signature ahoge cowlick on top, which had to be secured repeatedly using hairspray and flat irons. To bring my gaze closer to the character's setting in Galgame roleplay, I wore blue-toned contact lenses while emphasizing defined eye makeup and a soft, natural blush.

The studio lighting was exceptionally uniform, with the pure white backdrop keeping the visuals pristine and clean. The props were thoroughly prepared—beyond standard school desks and chairs, we brought an antique red compact camera, a stack of foreign-language books, and a light-colored parasol trimmed with lace. While shooting, I explored numerous postures to convey the character's daily routine: resting my chin at the desk required relaxed neck and shoulder lines to keep the posture organic; sitting sideways on a white cylindrical pedestal holding the camera helped accentuate the elongation of the legs, highlighting the harmony between the Black stockings and the shoes; sitting cross-legged on the desktop required fine-tuning the bend of the knees to prevent unnatural wrinkles in the pleated skirt.

Later in the session, I also tried standing poses holding the parasol and reclining poses. For standing shots, keeping the parasol properly framed while stabilizing my center of gravity ensured the skirt hem draped gracefully. The reclining posture proved the most challenging: directing the fan-like spread of brown hair across the pure white floor while keeping facial expressions relaxed, eyes focused, and arms placed without stiffness took considerable effort. Through this complete shoot, both my familiarity with the costume and my on-camera expressiveness saw substantial growth. I hope these photos allow everyone to feel the character's unique charm, and fellow fans are warmly welcomed to share photography tips.
