[Ace Taffy cosplay] Birthday atmosphere in a vintage study

Today's Ace Taffy styling focuses on color collision and material layering. The pink twin-tails paired with a large black lace bow naturally place the visual focus on the red-and-white dress and the prominent bright pink bow on the chest. To complement the dress's design, a brown-black short cape was layered over it, featuring gold lines and ruffles along the edges, presenting a wonderful oil-painting-like texture under the warm yellow lighting. A metallic silver choker was worn around the neck, paired with a necklace featuring a ruby, making the details exceptionally rich.
The shooting location was chosen in a vintage study room; the tall wooden bookshelves, gold carved picture frames, and classical grandfather clock around added a lot to the overall atmosphere. In terms of clothing coordination, I deliberately chose black hollow lace gloves and black stockings with garter belts. When sitting down to shoot, I intentionally crossed my legs and adjusted the angle, which not only showcases the texture of the black stockings but also makes the leg lines look more slender. Although the cape is long, through the adjustment of the sitting posture, it just reveals the black lace trim beneath the hem and the strap details on the legs, giving the overall styling both a vintage elegant feel and rich layering.
While shooting this photoset, the wooden elements and warm-toned lighting of the entire study created a very tranquil atmosphere. To match this environment, I tried many things in body language. For example, pulling both sides of the cape with both hands can make the silhouette of the entire outfit fuller; or supporting the head with one hand, showing a state of indolence mixed with confidence. When kneeling on the carpet, I held a book as a prop in my hand while the cape naturally draped down, making the frame look more vivid and natural without appearing too deliberate.
Since this theme carries birthday elements, in terms of lighting, shadow, and composition, I tried to choose a softer, warmer expression. The books, vintage clock, suitcase in the background, and the vintage carpet on the ground were all meant to make the photos look like a frame from a movie. During post-processing, I also retained the original warm tones, highlighting the delicate luster of the gold chains and pink bows on the clothing, hoping that the overall visual effect would present a vintage style that is both exquisite and filled with everyday life breath. Every moment captured by the lens is a deep restoration of this styling and scene atmosphere, and in the process of constantly adjusting my posture, I also felt the unique charm brought by this outfit.
