This set of outdoor Swimsuit Seia cosplay shots at the summer seaside was taken at this rocky beach. The weather at the seaside changes very quickly, but we happened to catch a clear period. The blue sky and green waves formed a very clean background, instantly setting a refreshing summer tone.

The highlight of this look lies in the color pairing of the white one-piece swimsuit and the loose light yellow jacket, making the overall color palette very soft. The fox ears on the head combined with the sun hat, plus the pink sunglasses on the chest, add a touch of sunshine and playfulness compared to the traditional impression of the character's attire. During the shooting process, I tried my best to stay in a state as if I were really on a beach vacation, rather than intentionally forcing poses. Sitting on the rough rocks, feeling the sea breeze, or playing with the sunglasses in my hand—these natural, subtle movements easily convey the character's sense of agility.

The photographer used backlighting and side-backlighting in this session. The afternoon sun filtered through the shimmering waves of the sea, casting a layer of warm rim light over the entire frame. This natural light is particularly expressive in seaside scenes, beautifully restoring the texture of the hair and the quality of the skin tone. Compared to indoor studio lighting, although the light in an outdoor environment is harder to control, it adds a lot of authentic breathing room to this set of photos.

I also paid special attention to certain details, such as the presentation of the one-piece swimsuit and wearing the jacket lazily slipping off the arms, which perfectly fitted the casual and unconstrained atmosphere of the beach. The waves rolling nearby in the lens served as an excellent dynamic embellishment, making the originally static standing or sitting poses more narrative-rich. The overall shooting rhythm was very comfortable, and I didn't force myself to try big movements that I wasn't good at just to get a good shot; instead, I relied more on my understanding of the character's personality to recreate that sense of coziness in the sea breeze.

The post-processing color grading of this photoshoot wasn't too complicated either; basically, while maintaining the original texture of the sunshine, I slightly adjusted the warmth and coolness of the tones. I hope that through this set of photos, the sunshine, waves, and the character's own temperament can be perfectly blended together. For outdoor cosplay, finding the right weather and environment often guarantees more than half the success of the final photos, and this experience has given me more confidence and love for seaside themes.
