Taking on the character of Yanami Anna this time, I made sure to prepare a giant bag of potato chips and drinks in advance to capture her signature habit of snacking anytime, anywhere! The primary focus of this photoshoot was crafting an effortless everyday vibe and cozy stay-at-home atmosphere. For the wig, I specifically trimmed clean blunt bangs and selected a vibrant, high-saturation bright blue that flatters fair skin and aligns impeccably with 2D anime visuals. The school uniform features a classic white collared shirt paired with a grey-and-white plaid pleated skirt, accented by a blue ribbon tie at the neckline and white over-ear headphones on my head—the quintessential losing-heroine aesthetic.

The shoot took place in an evocative vintage wooden cabin; the dark timber flooring and wooden plank walls inherently exude a nostalgic patina, gleaming with gorgeous tactile reflections under subtle lighting. To harmonize with the rustic space, I deliberately choreographed casual, relaxed postures: zoning out in the corner cradling snacks or lounging loosely on a floor cushion to project that endearing mix of melancholy and cute charm. To avoid visual monotony, I used a school shoulder bag and whiteboard as foreground and background framing elements to enrich depth. Lighting primarily relied on natural side rim light streaming through the window, accentuating edge contours while imbuing the scene with a warm, gently nostalgic color grade.

In facial expression management, I aimed for a softly dazed, spaced-out gaze, paired with slightly bent knees and arms clutching snacks, channeling that nuanced sentiment of 'even if I lost the romantic race, as long as there is good food, I can keep going!' Cosplaying a slice-of-life uniform character is tricky because looking natural is the hardest part—you have to shed any feeling of rigid, staged posing. Every finished shot was captured after repeatedly fine-tuning seating positions and prop arrangements with the photographer in the warm wooden room. The black mid-calf socks / Black stockings were also carefully chosen to contour leg lines, visually elongating proportions in seated postures. I hope everyone can feel the breezy, deliciously cozy everyday vibe captured in these photos, as well as my heartfelt love for the character.
