[Skadi Cosplay] Refreshing Moments on a Summer Beach

Presenting the official swimsuit cosplay photos of Skadi from Arknights! To recreate Miss Orca's relaxed seaside mood, I chose this blue, white, and red swimsuit set, which retains her crisp, heroic aura while infusing fresh summer vibes. The long silvery-white straight wig was styled with fluffy volume, paired with gradient-lens sunglasses and a black choker to maximize character recognition. Shooting in the afternoon, the sea breeze was strong, blowing my hair into a slightly messy state, which unexpectedly enhanced that casual, atmospheric feel. The first pose—kneeling while stretching arms upward—was meant to mimic her unwinding from combat while highlighting the lace-up strap design and leg ring details; the second shot, sitting on a beach chair with a clear swim ring, creates a lazy holiday mood.

The outfit's fabrics were crafted with great care—the woven straps of the top and the denim fabric of the shorts showed distinct tactile texture under the sunlight, and the platform sandals made maintaining balance on fine sand quite manageable. Although coastal sunlight was intense, the final photos turned out wonderfully translucent. In bringing the character to life, I paid special attention to Skadi's aloof exterior masking her inner gentle nature, so I avoided forced smiles and maintained a calm, steady gaze. For this beach photoshoot location, we scouted beforehand and found areas with reefs and crystal-clear water, but ultimately selected this broader open beach as our primary setting because the blue-and-white background better accentuated the costume's color palette. Post-processing preserved natural skin tones, light, and shadow without over-editing, aiming to deliver an authentic image brimming with character allure.

For me, cosplay goes beyond putting on a costume; it's about feeling the character's breath within the ocean breeze. During the shoot, waves washed over my shorts multiple times, but catching satisfying moments on camera made every splash worthwhile. This swimsuit edition combines heroic combat dignity with maiden-like liveliness, and I hope everyone enjoys Skadi in this serene state through this anime-style photography set.
