The finished photos of Talulah from Arknights shot at the CPG 08 Anime convention cosplay are finally here. To present this character's aura, significant effort was poured into hair and makeup, including the silver-white wig and the pair of black horns. Today, I'll mainly share my photoshoot insights regarding this outfit.

The material of this costume is exquisite: the visual contrast between the glossy black leather and red lining delivers a powerful impact, while the gold fringed epaulets and gold piping elevate the overall texture. But the biggest test was the leg accessories: platform high-heeled boots paired with black thigh straps and the Black stockings leg garter hugging the legs for hours were actually very sweltering and physically exhausting, yet an arrogant, cold posture had to be maintained before the lens.

During shooting, I adjusted my sword-gripping posture and tested various standing and kneeling poses—such as looking back over the shoulder with a horizontal blade or kneeling on one knee holding the sword—to better showcase the leg lines and sharp aura brought by the uniform through the camera. The photographer specifically utilized the modern architectural lines in the background of the convention venue along with rim backlighting, giving the leather and tassels a beautiful sheen. The long sword prop was quite heavy, and the wrapped cord on the long hilt had a very authentic texture; to pose with the blade in a handsome manner without looking stiff, I spent a lot of time adjusting my center of gravity, striving to convey a battle-hardened, imposing presence.

On the second day, convention crowds were massive, but we tried to find camera angles that avoided cluttered backgrounds. The on-site cool-toned lighting harmonized wonderfully with the black-and-red military uniform. Every convention shoot is a test of physical stamina, but capturing the character's proud, aloof demeanor in front of the lens to fully present the design made even getting weak in the knees feel completely worthwhile. The takeaway from this shoot is to thoroughly check props beforehand and coordinate with the photographer on lighting angles, ensuring the final output turns out natural.
