The character setting for Sparkle inherently carries strong visual impact, where the contrast of red, white, and black is eye-catching. When shooting this set of Mirror selfie photos, I deliberately chose a clean, pure white studio background. Since the saturation of the costume itself is already high enough, pure white helps render the outfit's silhouette and layers in a more three-dimensional way. For this Cosplay outfit, I chose the size S set from Manwu Shop Spark. For a 168 cm slim frame, the sizing fits the body curves perfectly. The standing collar, paired with the black collar featuring a bell on the chest and classic plum blossom shaped decorations, fully accentuates the character's slightly mysterious yet playful vibe.

The white scalloped lace at the neckline is spliced with the red V-shaped collar lapel, creating clear layers. The outer cape-like sleeve design is extraordinarily wide, printed with irregular black-and-white geometric patterns that perfectly fit the magical fairytale ambiance. Small cat and rabbit plush ornaments hanging from the corset waist add a lot of liveliness and help pull down the visual center of gravity of the white pleated skirt. From this angle, the composition of the Mirror selfie becomes very interesting—the stretch of the oversized sleeves combined with the skirt pleats creates a dramatic visual tension.

To make the overall look match the character's feeling even better, I wore a silver-white long straight wig styled into twin tails, decorated with red and black braided ropes for a very solid texture. The top hat with a black-and-white color scheme and plush rabbit ears completes the outfit's theme seamlessly. Makeup focused on the flush around the lower eyelids and lip color, which, paired with red contacts, makes the eyes look extra vibrant. The red-and-white wand in my hand is actually quite heavy-duty in construction; the large red flower at the top and the black-and-white striped bow feel weighty in hand. Holding a pink phone in the other hand for a Mirror selfie creates a wonderful contrast between daily life and the character.

The easiest pitfall when cosplaying characters like this is oversized sleeves making the frame look bulky. However, by pulling the shoulder cape angles slightly inward and using the phone's wide-angle stretching effect, you can actually achieve a sharp British vintage feel. During shooting, I tried several different poses. In standing full-body shots, I used the wide angle to showcase the slender silhouette created by the red-and-black color blocking, as well as details like the leg ring paired with white socks and black platform shoes. For someone 170 cm tall, wearing this kind of short skirt with platform shoes is a major visual plus. In the crouched close-up photo, I deliberately adjusted the wand base angle to let the red-and-white painted wooden shaft and metal cast tip shine under the light, while taking care of the thigh line and side ornaments of the platform shoes, concentrating the screen's focus from mid-body down to the legs for a relaxed yet dynamic vibe.

The design from Manwu Shop Spark shows great thought in the sleeve and skirt cuts—it preserves the visual stretching effect of large color blocks while keeping delicate feminine touches through scalloped edges and rope-knot elements. The hidden texture on the back and the belt strapping design ensure plenty of details from a 360-degree view, so no matter the angle you hold your phone for a Mirror selfie, it never looks dull. The white socks paired with glossy black platform chunky heel leather shoes naturally elongate the lower leg ratio. Combined with the leg ring made of a red fabric strap and black leather loop on the left leg, the lower body details are exceptionally rich. During multiple pose adjustments in standing and crouching, I paid special attention to letting the platform shoes' non-slip serrated soles and metal buckles enter the frame completely to enhance the sense of weight at the bottom. Overall, this small-sized costume fit me with no tightness; instead, it made my silhouette look tall and straight, capturing her signature eccentric charm and exquisite feel through these Mirror selfie shots.
