This shooting was chosen in a modern outdoor venue in Shanghai, centered around the theme of tennis. Cosplaying Dorothy, the design of the whole outfit is full of vitality. The pink short-sleeved crop top paired with a light purple sports bra looks full of athletic vibe; actually, it's quite form-fitting, so when doing movements like bending over or stretching arms, you need to pay attention to the smoothness of the clothes to avoid wardrobe malfunctions. The lower body's white pleated skirt paired with pink thigh-highs and white small leather shoes unifies the overall color matching very well.

In terms of props, that blue-and-black tennis racket is the soul of the entire set of photos. Actually, I don't usually play tennis much, so before the shoot, I spent a lot of time figuring out how to hold the racket so it looks natural. When holding the racket leaning against the wall, or sitting on the steps, the center of gravity must be stable, and the wrist force should be light and agile, making the racket look like a natural extension rather than a heavy burden. For the few shots buying water next to the vending machine, I tried to increase the sense of interaction through the action of handing over water; the gaze needs to look straight into the lens while the facial expression should be relaxed, showing a state of being slightly out of breath after exercise but in a pleasant mood.

Wig and makeup are also key points this time. Dorothy's pink long hair is very flowing; to maintain the fluffiness of the wig, I needed to use my hand to tidy up the hair strands from time to time, especially when there was wind. The white bow hair ornament on top of the head must be fixed securely. In terms of makeup, to match the pink-themed outfit, I chose purple-pink colored contact lenses, the eyeshadow was also pinkish and tender, and the lipstick chose a watery texture, making the overall makeup look sweeter.

Regarding lighting, the outdoor sunlight was very strong. To prevent harsh shadows on the face, the photographer guided me to find different angles, such as slightly raising my head or turning my profile, using natural light to create a translucent skin texture. The shooting on the wooden boardwalk had a fantastic light and shadow effect projected through the railing; I tried kneeling and bending-over postures to showcase the leg lines and the tension of the skirt hem as much as possible. Although the whole process sometimes required enduring the scorching sun to repeatedly adjust postures, seeing the raw photo results made everything totally worthwhile. Which photo's vibe does everyone like the best?
