This photoshoot features Dorothy cosplay in Qipao style from Goddess of Victory: Nikke. Shot at the peak of cherry blossom season, combining a pink-and-white color palette creates a wonderfully luminous atmosphere. Looking at the long pink wig in these photos, styling it actually required considerable effort. To capture the character's vivid, flowing grace, the wig strands underwent meticulous parting and shaping, paired with matching pink hair clips, bows, and specific blue-violet contact lenses. Makeup focused heavily on eye-shadow layering, aligning her gaze with character lore—soft yet infused with an eye-catching highlight.
Regarding the outfit, it features a design combining a traditional Qipao style with delicate lace. Though a custom cosplay build, craftsmanship is top-notch—from intricate collar embroidery and sheer frill cuffs to 3D white florals and delicate chain accents. To enhance garment layering, I accessorized with a white lace parasol and a plush round fan as handheld props. Both served as wonderful accents; half-opening the parasol diffused soft light directly onto my face, enhancing a gentle demeanor.
Weather on the shooting day was fantastic, with a clear sky in light blue. The photographer adopted a high-key style, leveraging natural sunlight paired with soft bounce boards to boost exposure for a bright, dreamlike aesthetic. Sweeping blurred backdrops of pink cherry blossoms contrasted against the deep blue sky, making the portrait subject pop in this Sakura Photograph. For composition, we mixed close-up and half-body framing—such as turning back while holding the parasol or catching dynamic candid moments with a flower petal in mouth reaching out—all to inject vibrant spring vitality into static photography.
Emotionally, I aimed to convey the vintage, elegant, yet slightly proud aura unique to this look. Thus, I deliberately slowed my movements in expression management, keeping my gaze gentle yet resolute. I personally adore the hazy spring atmosphere in the final output; even without complex artificial lighting, natural sunlight and color coordination achieved a deeply satisfying visual effect. Interacting with the surroundings during the shoot was crucial—holding flowers or gently grasping the parasol handle prevented stiff poses. Everyone invested great effort from hair/makeup to shooting, and I'm thrilled with this level of completion in Anime cosplay.
