From brainstorming the ideal venue in advance to heading out to shoot at an outdoor pool, the entire process involved a lot of detailed preparation. The pool setting seen in the photos fits the summer special theme perfectly; the light-blue parasols, beige curved buildings, and lush green trees in the softly blurred background create a breezy resort vibe, making the atmosphere feel cool and airy.

For styling, the focus this time was on looking natural and refreshing. I chose a deep blue-green short hairstyle that revealed defined layers under the bright outdoor sunlight, and the black-and-orange color-blocked cap on top boosted character recognition. For facial makeup, I kept things understated: the green contact lenses captured the character's eye color and lively gaze, while natural eye and lip makeup ensured my skin looked healthy, radiant, and translucent in strong outdoor lighting without appearing heavy or oily.

In terms of outfit coordination, I chose a semi-sheer white cropped top knotted at the hem, which looked effortless while visually elongating the waistline. The bottom was paired with bright orange shorts and a black belt as a transition, creating a vibrant color contrast. The iced orange drink with yellow fruit slices and a straw in my hand served as an ingenious prop, creating a great color harmony with the giant orange swim ring behind me and infusing the entire look with an unmistakable summer aura.

During the actual shoot, the hardest element to control was the intense outdoor sunlight. To capture photos that were bright without being overblown, we scheduled the shoot for a specific time window, waiting for the sun to angle down and cast natural side-backlighting. The photographer was extremely professional, utilizing natural light and reflectors to capture beautiful water ripples. The shimmering reflections cast across the clothes and skin added dynamic visual beauty to the scene. The pool water was also at a comfortable temperature, allowing me to pose more freely and naturally.

In terms of capturing the character's temperament, Belle in the universe of Zenless Zone Zero is inherently lively and playful. Therefore, facing the camera, I avoided overly stern or cold expressions, maintaining a confident, relaxed demeanor instead—holding the drink as if inviting viewers across the screen to join this summer party. The texture of the makeup and wig, combined with the location, recreated Belle's refreshing charm in this 'Summer Special' to the best of our ability. To capture the best angles of splashing water and the beverage, we adjusted our standing poses and arm angles multiple times in the pool. Despite soaking in the water for quite a while, the final results completely met our expectations.

Shooting at an outdoor pool like this is truly a limited summer experience. For this kind of theme, bad weather or overly harsh light is the biggest concern. Fortunately, the clear sky allowed the blue of the sky and the pool water to form a stunning complementary contrast with the orange outfit, achieving high color fidelity. During post-processing, we kept color grading natural, mainly refining light-shadow gradations and skin smoothness.
