This shoot of the Civilight Eterna Condolence theme for Demon King Theresa at Dorothy's Church turned out to have an overall atmosphere even more serene than I had anticipated. The Gothic structural style of the venue itself, combined with the cool-toned lighting, brought out the full texture of the black gown and veil, especially the light and shadow transitions along the lace edges, which perfectly matched the character's inherent temperament. The little bunny plush inside the bouquet was handmade by the prop team, with excellent details; the blue wrapping paper and white flowers perfectly neutralized the heaviness of the black color.

During the shoot, I tried several different poses for holding the flowers, such as closing my eyes with a downward gaze or slightly tilting my head up toward the camera. Because the character setting carries a gentle sense of detachment, I intentionally held back my emotions in expression control—not over-rendering sadness, but instead leaving a bit of room for tranquility. The high-back chairs and feather decorations of the church added a touch of ritualistic feel to the frame. During composition, I intentionally avoided the edges to ensure the character remained at the visual center.

The corset and layered skirt of this outfit actually had quite a bit of weight to wear, but to maintain the silhouette of the skirt hem, I kept adjusting the pleats during shooting breaks. I am most satisfied with the close-up shot, where the light hits my cheek perfectly, making the pink hair emit a soft reflection against the dark background. The whole process and teamwork went very smoothly. Schemes were made in advance for everything from prop placement to camera positioning, resulting in high efficiency for delivering final photos in this Gothic style photography and Cosplay studio shooting session.
