[Amiya cosplay] Arknights: Companion interwoven with a sea of flowers and machinery

This grassy slope blooming with white flowers is the location where I shot the Arknights Amiya "Walking on water by moonlight" outdoor photos today. Standing tall behind me is a huge green industrial building; this collision of natural vitality and cold, rigid machinery perfectly matches the unique visual tone of the Terra world.

Let's talk about the details of the costume. The tailoring of this black long coat is very sophisticated. To restore the neat feeling of the official character illustration, I adjusted the blue color-blocking on the cuffs and collar repeatedly for a long time. The inner white top and black shorts form a great color segmentation, paired with black translucent stockings and blue shoes, which not only lengthens the leg lines but also makes it easy to walk around on the grassy slope. A lot of effort was also put into trimming the wig and fixing the bunny ear styling. Because it was windy on the shooting day, to keep the head styling from messing up, plenty of hairspray and invisible hairpins were used.

The prop staff is one of the visual focal points of this set. The top of the metal-textured cross structure points directly to the sky, and the diamond-shaped parts have a great reflection effect under natural light. However, due to its large size, holding it for a long time does make your arm sore. To appear natural and powerful in front of the camera, I needed to constantly adjust the angles of my shoulders and wrists, coordinating with my breathing to keep the posture from being too stiff.

The shooting process was a real test of adaptability. Although the sun was bright, the clouds were thick, and the light kept shifting between bright and dim. Standing in the sea of flowers, the behemoth behind me gave a strong sense of oppression, and this contrast also made the immersion even stronger. That line kept echoing in my mind: "Doctor, no matter what lies ahead, I will accompany you by your side." Amiya as a character carries a lot; she is both a leader and a companion. Therefore, in terms of eyes and posture, I tried my best to show that resilient yet gentle feeling—not overly sweet, but with a bit of composure after experiencing the storms of life.

When the wind blows, petals fall onto the clothes and hair, which instead adds a bit of battle-worn and weathered feel. During shooting breaks, I also constantly check my makeup and costume to ensure every frame stands up to scrutiny. As a coser, you must not only replicate the appearance, but also immerse yourself into the environment to feel the character's current state of mind. This is the shooting state I have always pursued.

This outdoor shoot was physically exhausting; from positioning to expression management, every single detail required high concentration. But when seeing the images in the camera, I felt it was all worth it. The vitality of the sea of flowers and the cold, rigid architecture behind formed a great visual sense of storytelling. I hope this expression allows everyone to feel Amiya's persistence and companionship.
