For this Kotone Fujita cosplay set, I chose her highly authentic casual daily outfit. The preparation mainly went into styling the wig, as the Blonde twin tails styled into neat braids required meticulous care. Trimming the bangs took quite a while, and the placement of the pearl hair clips and black ribbon bows on the front was readjusted several times. For makeup, I selected large-diameter light-colored contacts to faithfully recreate the character's gaze, paying special attention to the blending area of the eye makeup. A vibrant blush was applied to the cheeks, and the lipstick was chosen with a subtle gloss. For her signature lip piercing, I used a metallic sticker patch. The top is a bright yellow T-shirt with a loose neckline whose graphic print has a subtle sheen under light. The jacket features a mint green, pink, and white color-block design; since such large areas of bright colors test lighting conditions, I chose to shoot by an indoor window. For the bottom, I wore a blue-and-white checkered pleated skirt, with the pleats carefully pressed so the lines remained crisp when lifting a leg. On the lower body, pairing white socks with platform yellow-and-white sneakers visually elongated leg proportions. The first two photos used half-body framing, highlighting facial details and upper-body colors through peace signs (V-signs) and slightly turned head angles. The third photo is a full-body mirror shot in this Selfie sharing log, perfectly capturing the skirt's layers and leg lines, where a slight single-leg lift makes the overall silhouette look even more slender. Using a phone for mirror selfies, I carefully controlled lens height and distance to avoid harsh wide-angle distortion. I utilized ambient diffuse light indoors alongside a small fill light for facial illumination. Post-processing avoided exaggerated retouching, mainly tweaking the overall color temperature to soften the yellow-green tones and match the lively, energetic vibe of Gakuen Idolmaster. The entire shoot took about an hour, hitting the best lighting in the afternoon when natural light is soft and makes garment colors pop vibrantly. Because this Anime-style fashion look is so vivid, I kept the layout clean without extra borders.
