[Kal'tsit cosplay] Arknights Kal'tsit's "Blazing Feathers" Convention Photos at Comicup 32

This "Blazing Feathers" themed Kal'tsit look at Comicup 32 was shot directly outside the exhibition hall. I chose a high-angle shot combined with the ring props in hand to recreate an unapproachable aura. Many people ask if this cat ear look comes across as overly serious, but in reality, interacting with Doctors at the convention was actually super warm and friendly.

A lot of effort went into restoring the character's traits through the outfit and props. The loose-fit dark blue trench coat features a bright blue lining with contrasting yellow trim that stands out well under natural light. A stiff white collar paired with a mint green inner top and black chest panels immediately focuses the visual core on her iconic style. The outer coat drapes nicely, and combined with the crisp cut of the shorts, the gentle breeze outside the hall gave the ribbons and hem a very natural dynamic movement.

As for the most eye-catching weapon—this pair of giant red rings—we reduced the weight of their internal structure so they would be balanced to hold on-site while looking great in photos. Visually, the red base with antique gold borders and hollow patterns still maintained a strong sense of heft and aggressiveness. Raising a ring with one hand paired with a cool gaze easily conveys the character's unique tension. At an intense, high-mobility event like Comicup 32, having large yet manageable props made shooting very smooth.

Regarding the two photos on-site, the first photo had a slight editing flaw in the waist area during post-processing, so I personally recommend using the second one as the main image. The second photo has a more expansive composition, where the red and green color contrast looks richer against the grey metal background, with the subject centered nicely for avatars or social media displays.

Cosplaying this character at a convention isn't just about restoring appearances; capturing demeanor is equally important. The cat ears tend to sway in windy outdoor areas, so it's key to keep the head steady for the shutter. Blending out your gaze with contact lenses creates that cool yet steady vibe characteristic of her. Refining the makeup beforehand—including blushing under the eyes and keeping the wig smooth—ensures a crisp Anime-style fashion feel in front of the lens.

Seeing so many fellow fans come by for photos or ask about prop details made the interaction one of the best parts of the convention. Whether it's the red-and-gold weapons or the overall color-blocked outfit, it certainly stood out in the crowd. As a player who loves honing character details at events, bringing a character to life through my own interpretation is pure fun. The sunlight outside was just right, pressing the shutter amid the crowd to leave this memory in Comicup 32's records.
