This group shoot was originally planned as a get-together for female colleagues in Lungmen, but nobody expected we would randomly bump into everyone from 7256 on the commercial street—doubling our fun instantly! What started as a serious group photography assignment spontaneously turned into a bustling mini Arknights offline fan meet. The moment we met up, there was an incredible sense of belonging, and we happily tagged along for some delicious food, making the entire day a complete success.

Since we were cosplaying several female colleagues from Arknights, we communicated extensively beforehand about our outfits. I took on the Texas cosplay; wearing the black techwear jacket with tactical straps was actually quite warm, and topped with grey wolf ears on a somewhat hot day, it took some endurance, but everyone was completely dedicated. Lappland's grey-and-white wolf ears and jacket texture looked incredibly sharp; Exusiai's energetic orange-red hair and bow tie gave her instant recognition; Mostima's dark ensemble paired with pale blue-purple hair felt both mysterious and effortlessly relaxed. Swire's golden hair and Kemonomimi cosplay feline ears were dazzlingly bright, Hoshiguma's signature dark green long hair and black leather jacket exuded commanding presence, and Lin Yuxia and Ch'en were spot-on in their styling. Standing together, our group displayed vibrant color contrasts and immense presence.

We chose a semi-outdoor pedestrian shopping street for this shoot. The surrounding Chinese-style signs and eaves resonated surprisingly well with the Oriental-cyberpunk urban aesthetic of Lungmen in Arknights. The panoramic group photo in the third shot is what I consider ideal for a cover: everyone is interacting naturally, and the lighting catches the wigs and costumes with rich texture without edge crops or collage edits. Even though it looks like a candid passerby snapshot, every character appears crisp and vivid in this Casual cosplay record.

Shooting a large-group outdoor cosplay requires immense coordination between everyone and the camera, while keeping wigs and props from tangling with one another. We shifted between multiple staging layouts—from side close-ups to pulled-back full-body group shots. For every shutter click, everyone had to maintain their expressions and poses; a slight shift with gloved hands holding props meant retaking the shot. Fortunately, the keeper rate today was fantastic, and the atmosphere on set was amazing.

Running into the 7256 crew was a wonderful surprise. For cosplay enthusiasts constantly hustling between conventions and studios, these spontaneous gatherings of fellow fans are truly precious. Helping each other straighten collars, checking if beast ears were crooked, and adjusting prop placements—these little moments are deeply touching. While we were striking badass poses in front of the lens, behind the scenes was full of playful banter.

Lastly, special thanks to our friends handling coordination and photography—directing and catching candid moments in group photography is the toughest challenge, but the final photos completely exceeded our expectations. This atmospheric street photoshoot, topped off with a celebratory dinner, truly brought the sisterly camaraderie of Lungmen colleagues from Arknights into reality. It was an unforgettable experience well worth preserving in our photo albums.
