[Dual-Style Shooting Log] Outdoor Elf Fantasy and Neon Bunny Girl Studio Session: Photography Journal

Getting straight to the point, today I'm sharing several recent shoot sets alongside my photoshoot commission services. The captures displayed above feature two distinctly contrasting aesthetics: one follows an outdoor high-fantasy natural route, while the other adopts an indoor cool neon vibe. These represent two classic categories in my regular commission work. I handle a wide spectrum of visual styles and thoroughly enjoy the creative rush of switching between such diverse setups.

Let's start with the outdoor woodland elf Cosplay photoshoot. The location was set in a lush forest park in the Shanghai suburbs, benefiting from crisp, transparent natural ambient light. The outfit featured a deep blue hooded cloak dress paired with light blonde braided pigtails and elf ear prosthetics. Framing against thick tree trunks and fallen leaves beautifully rendered her ethereal, serene temperament. We incorporated organic props like withered branches and freshly picked wildflowers, adding narrative depth rather than static standing poses. The white-robed mage outfit in the set was captured during the same session, using lakeside breezes to lift the white cape; combined with silver hair, we captured dynamic, flowing motion on shutter click.

Next is the indoor studio bunny girl series—a look that cannot be replicated outdoors and relies heavily on studio lighting and set design to construct its mood. We laid silver holographic reflector film across the platform and paired it with magenta key and rim lighting, imparting a sleek yet vibrant neon glow. The wardrobe consisted of a black patent leather bodysuit paired with fishnet stockings. High-gloss reflective fabrics require precise light shaping; improper key angles can easily render surfaces greasy or blown out. I deployed my speedlights along with a continuous modeling lamp for fill light, accessorized with bunny ears, a red necktie, and a wine glass prop. We experimented with languid and playful poses to accentuate the garment's tailoring and the subject's natural silhouette.

Regarding my personal commission workflow, I prioritize high adaptability and seamless communication. Many clients feel shy or anxious before a session, but I believe guiding the subject is a core responsibility of the photographer. During pre-production, I thoroughly clarify the client's preferred color grading, compositional framing, and overall atmosphere before hitting the shutter, ensuring the final images match their vision without discrepancy.

Since this is a commercial service, pricing and workflow must remain completely transparent. My rate is set at 99 RMB for a guaranteed 9-grid deliverable package, including all raw files returned (a 10 RMB refund per file if under 9), providing total assurance for clients seeking high-volume, high-quality deliverables within budget. On the hardware side, I bring three professional speedlights, one continuous modeling light, and a collapsible step ladder. Managing lighting ratios and camera positions independently allows me to handle diverse venue conditions and fabric textures during an Outdoor studio photoshoot. The booking deposit is 10% of the total, and shooting commences once the time slot is locked.
