This Touhou Project work is mainly to add some new colors to the homepage. In terms of costume design, I chose classic red and off-white as the main tones. This color scheme is visually very harmonious, retaining the character's charm while bringing out a gentle Japanese style texture. Actually, during the production process, the biggest challenge was that huge Bow decoration. To make it look full enough and not collapse in front of the lens, I made many meticulous adjustments to the lining and support structure. I even specifically studied the curvature distribution of the bow to ensure it stays crisp when shot from any angle. I also gave special treatment to the tailoring of the outer robe, emphasizing a casual drape so that the clothes can generate richer layer changes when standing at different angles. For this kind of detail-oriented clothing, the crispness of the fabric is key, and I repeatedly tried different fabrics. The material finally selected can both support the silhouette and present a premium texture under light and shadow. Although it's just a simple Mirror selfie record, every fold direction, color transition, and accessory placement has undergone multiple prototyping and repeated deliberations. This is my recent insight into creation, and I hope this look can bring a little bit of novelty to the homepage.
